The Presiding Bishop of The Methodist Church Ghana, ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐๐ฏ. ๐๐ซ๐จ๐. ๐. ๐๐ฐ๐๐๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฌ๐๐ฆ๐จ๐๐ก-๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ฎ, has shared a touching reflection from his participation in the Conference of the British Methodist Church.
Today, he had the privilege of meeting ๐๐-๐ฒ๐๐๐ซ-๐จ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐จ๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ญ๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ก๐ง, a former missionary who served at the ๐๐ฐ๐๐๐๐ฌ๐จ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ง'๐ฌ ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐๐๐๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐๐๐ and also spent a year ministering at ๐๐๐ญ๐ก๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ก๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ก, ๐๐๐ค๐จ๐ซ๐๐๐ข.
According to the Presiding Bishop, Deaconess Betty arrived early for the ordination service specifically so she could meet and speak with him. Reflecting on the encounter, he expressed gratitude to God for the faithful ministry of missionary partners whose sacrifices helped lay a strong foundation for The Methodist Church Ghana.
He also noted that during Deaconess Betty's year of service in Takoradi, he was just ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฑ ๐ฒ๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ ๐จ๐ฅ๐โa reminder of how God's providence weaves lives together across generations.

We thank God for the lives and enduring witness of faithful servants like Deaconess Betty Vaughn, whose dedication continues to inspire the Church today.
