AhlussunnaWal-Jamaá Youth Foundation for Social Services is a non-governmental organization. It was found in the year 2010 with the aim of improving upon the standard of the communities in Volta region and Ghana as a whole.
The foundation does not discriminate on the basis of country of origin, language, race, colour, s*x, age, educational background and other affiliations. It does not indulge in any political activity or any kind of lobbying and does not intend to do so in future. It was named ASWAJYFSS in short.
The foundation is aimed at executing humanitarian projects notably, educational, environmental, social and health care programmes. It is so particular about self-employment, projects, education for ordinary people, teaching of Qur-anic recitation and memorization. Further, education for orphans, women and less privilege people for the realization of a positive behavioral and social change.
However, the organization is to work towards re-enforcing educational services and propagating Islam to the masses, and extending support to the needy and promoting self-employment.
