Psalms 119:10-12 (KJB1611) With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.

The blessings of being a believer is directly dependent upon our perception and acceptance of God's word (The Bible) as the final authority for faith and practice in our lives. Many struggle with this reality. The Psalmist's plea was not to wander from the Lord's commandment and expectations for his life.This should be our desire too. The word of God has the potency to change lives. The moulding and making of the child of God is orchestrated by the Bible.Someone rightly said that "this book (the Bible)will keep you from sin, or sin will keep you from this book.We should never neglect the word of God for anything in the world.
Psalms 119:130 "The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple."The word of God is life compass. We need it to navigate our way through life, and its uncertainties.Psalms 119:105 "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."

We cannot have daily victory over sin except we daily saturate ourselves in God's word. How often do we read, memorize, and meditate on God's word? There lies the ultimate secret of victory over sin. Psalms 119:9.The word is meant to be stored in our hearts. This is necessary so we can ward off Satan's attacks and not be subdued by sin. The truth of God's word exposes Satan's lies. Many professing believers neglect spending time in God's word thereby becoming susceptible to the wiles of the devil. We are encouraged concerning the benefit of delighting in , and meditating on God's word. Psalms 1:2,3" But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper." Like the Psalmists, we should desire to be taught the statutes of the Lord. Hold on to, and hiding God's word in our hearts will certainly keep us from sin.

Thought

May we be mindful of the fact that negligence of spending time in God's word in our daily lives is tantamount to being open to the control of sin. Satan will never spare us ,so we must not ignore doing our time in God's word.

Firstly, you must have a relationship with God.
Then you have a deeper friendship with yourself, you can't give what you don't have.

1)Treat people the same way you want them to treat you. (Matt 7:12) That's The Golden rule.
Anything you desire to be done to you, do it to others. E.g Showing respect, valuing your friends perspectives, checking up on your friend from time to time. This little things matters.

If you're the kind of person that loves Spiritual things and the other person keep saying it's not about being Spiritual...Ah! The way you're going with the church stuff thing self abeg be calming down, just know both of you are not sailing in the same boat.

When you see it as seeds sown,you will be intentional about building it.
For example: A Benson Idahosa's child is automatically Favoured by A Bishop Oyedepo. They don't need to do anything extra, it's an inheritance they got from their father.

📌Any friendship you're building Now, just see to it as sowing seeds in which your children will get to benefit from the harvest. That's why you must build the right friendship as part of the legacy you must leave for your children.

4. Spend Time with others, Accept them as they are, be open, value their feelings and Opinions.
You know we all want to feel important that's one of the cravings of Humans.

To be being kind is not an act,but a lifestyle.
Everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle. People everywhere need a good word an uplifting compliment live them hope and dreams.
📌It takes little efforts to do, but it really lifts people up. Just show genuine care for your friends. Be there when they need you the most. Give counsel, advice and encouragement.

📌Many people go further than they thought they could go because someone else believed they could and told them so.

6) Learn how to appreciate your friends. Definitely you want others to appreciate you the deepest principle in human nature is the craving to be appreciated.
📌Even a quick Affirmation will give people a sense of Value. Don't be tight fist with our praise. If your friends does things you can do well appreciate them.
📌All people feel better and do better when you give them attention, affirmation and appreciation. The next time you make contact with people, begin by giving them your undivided attention. Affirm them and show your appreciation for them in some way.

For any Friendship to strive you must understand each other.
Through wisdom is a house built but by understanding is it established.
📌You can start by building your friendship with wisdom.
Normally we need wisdom to scale through Life. While understanding makes your friendship solid, balance and established.
A friend of mine said something hilarious 😂 She said " Life is not by strength but by sense "
When we have understanding on how to go about our friendship, I tell you, our friendship will be heaven on earth.

8) The last but not the least for today is Forgiveness. Martin Luther king Jr.
Was right when he said " Forgiveness is not an occasional act, it's a permanent attitude. For you to build a deeper friendship you must have a forgiving spirit. Without it you will keep counting offences which will destroy the friendship.

Building a Deeper Friendship is an act of selflessness.

You must love yourself enough to see good in others and celebrate their wins like yours.

📌 When You build deeper Friendship you experience Peace when we speak same language and head towards same direction. Understanding entails peaceful Friendship.

📌To build deeper friendship one should be willing to be sold out, is more like a calling, and sometimes very demanding.... We all know 👇
Understanding is the key to growth...

My Devotional Message -
*Get on the Giving End*

*LUKE 6:38* Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” *Amen*

If you want to be on the receiving end of prayer that brings results, start by getting in on the giving end.

*What does that mean?*

If you need healing, pray for someone else to be healed *(James 5:16).* The way you measure out is how it will be measured back. The Word says God is Love. If you need your children to be more involved with God, go witness about salvation to someone else’s child. If you need more time, give what little you do have and ask God to redeem it for you—He’ll give it back in abundance. Walk in the light you have, and God will give you more.

*Jesus said, “give and it will be given to you again.”*

God is looking for someone He can use to become a channel of His blessings. The more He gives, the more you give. You can become a rich blessing of giving, not just receiving. If you’ll take the receiving end off your mind, and focus on giving, you’ll be in position for answered prayer.

When you determine to take these steps, your prayers will bring results every time. All you have to do is develop the kind of believing faith that receives all that Jesus did for you on the cross. You don’t have to struggle in your prayer closet anymore.

My Devotional Message -
*Testify That Your Prayer Is Answered*

*REVELATION 12:11* “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” *Amen*

This verse tells us we overcome the plots and plans of the enemy two ways: by the blood of Jesus and by the word of our testimony. Everything you need has been provided by the blood of Jesus, and as a born-again believer, those things are rightfully yours.

But, we do have an enemy who is out to steal, kill and destroy our rights. Jesus already did His part in defeating him, and our part is simple—our words. You’ve taken a lot of steps to get to this point in achieving prayer that brings results. Don’t stop now!

*When you testify to answered prayer, you achieve two things:*

1- You claim what is rightfully yours. You have the right to have anything the sacrifice of Jesus procured. When you testify to that right, it begins to take place in your life.

2- Your testimony of faith will encourage others and help build their faith. That’s why Jesus told the man who had been demon-possessed to go home and tell his family everything the Lord had done for him *(Mark 5:18-20).*

Your testimony is a powerful tool in your prayer life.

My Devotional Message -
*Base Your Prayers on God’s Word*

*1 JOHN 5:14-15* Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. *Amen*

The key to seeing the kind of results God wants you to achieve through prayer is not just shooting random arrows in the air, hoping something might happen. James wrote, “You do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss” *(James 4:3).* If you want to hit the bulls-eye every time you pray, your prayers must be based on the Word of God.

You can go boldly to the throne of grace *(Hebrews 4:16),* by knowing what God’s will is in advance and having it firmly fixed in your heart.

So, the first step to praying prayers that bring results is to locate the promise or promises that fit your situation in the Word of God. Then, like an arrow to a bulls-eye, shoot that prayer with boldness and confidence.

*Submerge Your Prayers in Faith*

*MATHEW 21:22* “And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” *Amen*

Once you begin praying based on God’s Word, the next step in praying effectively is to submerge your prayers in faith. That means you don’t wait for a manifestation to believe you receive—that’s not faith!

This might seem difficult at first, but as you practice applying your faith, it will become a way of life for you. Here are some quick-start tips for adding faith to your prayers.

*1. Believe you receive when you pray.*

God’s Word is always true. If He says it’s done—it’s done. So, as you pray, begin to move yourself from believing He can to knowing He will.

*2. Speak It*

Start your confession of faith before you see the manifestation of answers to your prayers.

*3.Act On It*

When the 10 lepers came to Jesus for healing, He told them to show themselves to the priests, and when they went, they were cleansed.

Every single time you act in faith with that kind of dogged determination on the Word of God, you will always wind up the winner.

*Good morning ...* Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. *Amen*
