The Children’s Ministry of The Church of Pentecost, Goaso Area, successfully organized its 2026 Camp Meeting at Ken Hammer Schools from 26th to 29th August 2026, bringing together children and teachers from across the Area for spiritual empowerment, discipleship, and fellowship.

The four-day event recorded an impressive attendance of 1,090 children and 144 teachers from the 29 districts in the Area. A major highlight of the camp was the baptism of 243 children in the Holy Spirit during a special fasting and prayer session.

The camp was officially launched during a "Time with the Area Head" session, where the Area Secretary, Pastor Patrick Nyame, welcomed participants and spoke on the theme, "The Fully-Equipped Child, Unleashed with the Power of the Holy Spirit." He encouraged the children to actively participate in all camp activities and become agents of transformation in their communities.

Throughout the camp, participants engaged in a variety of activities including Bible lessons, class sessions, fasting and prayer, morning devotions, talent exhibitions, and indoor and outdoor games. The children were grouped according to age categories to facilitate effective teaching and interaction.

A significant spiritual moment occurred on Friday, 28th August, during a powerful Holy Ghost service led by Pastor Emmanuel Mintah and other ministers from the Area, resulting in 243 children receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

The camp also featured a vibrant Talent Night, where children showcased their God-given abilities, as well as recreational activities including football, volleyball, Ampe, Antoakyire, dancing competitions, and other games that promoted teamwork and fellowship.

Bringing the camp to a close, the Area Children's Ministry Leader, Pastor Gregory Nyameka Ndedeh, encouraged participants to remain steadfast in their faith and use the spiritual empowerment received during the camp to influence their environments positively for Christ.

The 2026 Camp Meeting ended on a high note, leaving participants spiritually refreshed, purpose-driven, and empowered to impact their generation with the Gospel.

The Anwianwia Mission House Dedication marked a significant milestone in the advancement of ministry work within the district, as church leaders, traditional authorities, and members gathered to dedicate a newly constructed residence for the new district minister.

The facility is expected to enhance pastoral work and support the church's vision of "Possessing the Nations."

Delivering the sermon on the topic, "God is Counting on You to Give in Support of His Work," Pastor Kwabena Poku of the Estate District encouraged congregants to be deliberate in supporting ministers who dedicate their lives to God's service.

Drawing lessons from Deuteronomy 18:1 and Philippians 4:10-20, he explained that the Old Testament priests were not allotted land because God intended them to focus fully on ministry, with their welfare entrusted to the people of God they lead.

He emphasized that ministers face both spiritual and practical responsibilities, including family upkeep, educational expenses, utility bills, hospitality needs and, visitors care. He therefore challenged members to consistently contribute to the welfare of God's servants and the growth of the church through sacrificial and cheerful giving.

Apostle Samuel Otu Appiah, Area Head, reinforced the message by stressing that supporting ministers is an integral aspect of Christian service and stewardship. He noted that offerings made toward God's work attract divine blessings and rewards.

The Area Head also acknowledged the faithfulness of God and the immense support of the church's Executive Council, led by Apostle Dr. Eric Nyamekye, which made the construction of the mission house possible.

In a goodwill message, Nana Ofosu Gyeabour, Chief of Anwianwia, expressed gratitude to the church for selecting Anwianwia as the central seat for the new district and for investing in such an impressive structure within the community. He commended the initiative and urged residents and church members alike to maintain the facility and ensure its longevity.

The newly dedicated mission house boasts a modern multi-bedroom design featuring a visitors' lounge, parlour, dining hall, kitchen, and store room. The facility is intended to provide a conducive and comfortable environment for ministers and their families, thereby enhancing their ability to carry out their pastoral responsibilities effectively.

The dedication ceremony attracted a distinguished gathering of clergy, traditional leaders, and church members. Among the dignitaries present were Mrs. Gifty Dansoah Appiah, wife of the Area Head; Nana Afua Serwaa, Anwianwia Obaa Hemaa, together with her council of elders; Nana Yaw Gyasi, Chief of Gyasikrom and his council of elders; as well as ministers and their spouses from across the Goaso Area.

The successful completion and dedication of the mission house stand as a testament to the church's commitment to strengthening ministry infrastructure and providing lasting support for God's servants in their mission to transform lives and communities.
