August Holy Ghost Convention Calls for Revival and Spirit-Filled Living

The August Holy Ghost Convention was held for three days under the theme, “Unleashed by the Power of the Holy Spirit,” with Zechariah 4:7 as the main scripture.

The convention brought together believers for a time of spiritual renewal, prayer, teaching, and reflection. The Word of God was ministered by Rev. Victor Kyeremeh Gyabaah, Elder Amos Okyere, and Elder Isaac Ablorh.

Throughout the three-day programme, participants were challenged to make room for God and allow the Holy Spirit to have a greater influence in their daily lives. The speakers emphasized the importance of repentance, willingness, making time for the Lord, and walking uprightly with God.

A strong call was also made for revival. Participants were encouraged not only to pray for revival but to become people through whom revival can begin and spread. They were urged to seek the presence of God and walk in the power of the Holy Spirit.

The convention ended with a renewed commitment to pursue a deeper relationship with God, live according to His Word, and depend on the Holy Spirit to overcome every obstacle and fulfil God's purpose.

COMMUNION SERVICE
THE COST OF OUR SALVATION
Scripture Reference: 1 Peter 1:18-19

During the Communion Service, Rev. Victor Kyeremeh reminded the congregation of the immeasurable value of Christ's sacrifice for humanity. Speaking from 1 Peter 1:18-19, he explained that although people often place great value on material possessions, some things are far too precious to be bought with money.

He emphasized that salvation is one of those priceless gifts. It was not purchased with silver, gold, or any earthly possession, but with the precious blood of Jesus Christ, the spotless Lamb of God. This, he said, reveals the depth of God's love and the great price He was willing to pay to redeem mankind.

Rev. Kyeremeh further explained that God gave His very best, His only Son, Jesus Christ, as the ransom for our salvation. Referring to Christ's humility and sacrificial life in Philippians, he encouraged the congregation to reflect on the significance of the cross and the incomparable gift of redemption.

He urged believers not to take their salvation for granted, but to honour Christ's sacrifice by living lives that reflect His love, remaining faithful to His Word, and sharing the message of salvation with others. As the Church partook of the Holy Communion, he encouraged everyone to remember the priceless blood that was shed for the redemption of humanity.

May God grant us the grace to cherish the sacrifice of Christ, walk faithfully with Him, and live lives that bring glory to His name.
