What we called....."The Perfect Moment"

The much anticipated Devotional featuring a pre recorded video from President Russell NELSON finally took place at the Assin Foso Ghana South Stake Center.. Bishop Shadrach Bentum and Brother Buckman (all from S & I ) where in attendance. Bishop Bentum lead and presided over the devotional.
The perfect moment came when the video was played. We had the opportunity to sit back and watch President Nelson as he spoke about INSTITUTE. Many promised blessings were proclaimed in his short but impacting message. Bishop Bentum later led a discussion where the YSAs where put in groups to discuss what they had learned and any questions they had. Young Single Adults were called upon to share their testimonies about institute. Other activity like 'hit the target or bottle' took place, where both ladies and gents were asked to kick a football to hit the target(bottled water) to win an Apple. Many failed tho buh others too made it. This devotional saw many of the YSAs come in their numbers.

President Nelson said: If you want to know your true self, attend institute.
If you want to be a peacemaker, attend institute.

As part of our efforts to learn more at institute, know and understand the blessings of attending institute a devotional featuring President Russell NELSON in a prerecorded video will be held tomorrow Friday 17th October 2023 at the Assin Foso Ghana South Stake Center.
This is also an effort of the entire YSAs in the stake to be gathered.

Institute is an organized class for the young Single Adults of the church to learn about Christ, His church and His doctrines.

We do this because we love Him... He who is mighty to save

The YSAs, returned missionaries, potential missionaries together with the full time missionaries came together to proslyte on the 28th October 2023 as part of the missionary Sacrament meeting organised by the Assin Foso first Ward .
They were grouped into different districts and were assigned to certain families and areas to work.
At the end of the 2 to 3 hours of Proselyting, each district presented the names and new contacts they had to the full time missionaries and promised to help the missionaries to work.

The bishopric of the Assin Foso First Ward organised a missionary Sacrament meeting for all return missionaries, full time missionaries and potential missionaries.
The program took place on 28th and 29th October.
