Psalms 68:1
Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.

No one has ever hardened his heart against God and prospered. God is the joy of His people; therefore, let them rejoice when they come before Him. He who derives His being from none, but gives being to all, is bound by His promise and covenant to bless His people. He is to be praised as the God of mercy and tender compassion. He continually cares for the afflicted and oppressed. Repentant sinners, who are helpless and exposed, more than fatherless children, are welcomed into His family and made partakers of all His blessings.

Romans 6:13

“Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those who are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.” — Romans 6:13 (KJV)

In Romans 6:13, we are called to present ourselves not to sin, but to God, as instruments of righteousness. This powerful directive reminds us that our choices matter profoundly. Sin, which once held dominion over us, is no longer our master. Instead, we are invited to embrace a new identity in Christ—a life characterized by righteousness.

The Apostle Paul, writing to the Romans, emphasizes the transformative power of God’s grace, which frees us from the chains of sin. This grace does not merely excuse our wrongdoing; it empowers us to live in a way that reflects God’s holiness. In a world that often normalizes sin, we are challenged to stand firm in our commitment to righteousness.

Each day presents us with a choice: to yield to temptation or to align our actions with God’s will. By consciously choosing righteousness, we become living sacrifices, demonstrating the love and sacrifice of Christ to those around us. Today, consider how you can actively present yourself to God, seeking to be an instrument of His peace and truth in a world that desperately needs them.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, as I come before You this morning, I thank You for the gift of grace that has liberated me from the bo***ge of sin.

I recognize the struggle within me—the pull of temptation that seeks to draw me away from Your righteousness. Help me to yield my heart and actions to You so that I may be a vessel for Your glory. Teach me to embrace the sacrifice of Christ as the ultimate example of love and obedience. May I walk in the light of Your truth, reflecting Your character in all that I do.

Strengthen my resolve to resist sin and to choose righteousness, trusting that You are with me every step of the way. I desire to know You more deeply and to trust You more fully. Lead me in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏

We are living in an era where darkness covers the face of the deep, gross darkness engulfs the people, and the hordes of hell advance across nations and civilizations. Yet, the hope of every believer is to fix his gaze upon the Lord—to look unto the Great Shepherd and Bishop of our souls for light, revelation, and divine illumination. As we behold Him, He dispels every darkness, directs our paths, and grants us the grace to overcome and prevail.
