How does the Book of Mormon testify of Jesus Christ?

1 Nephi 11

32 And it came to pass that the angel spake unto me again, saying: Look! And I looked and beheld the Lamb of God, that he was taken by the people; yea, the Son of the everlasting God was judged of the world; and I saw and bear record.

33 And I, Nephi, saw that he was lifted up upon the cross and slain for the sins of the world.

The Book of Mormon testifies of Christ and his Atonment. We can learn and grow as we read the Book of Mormon each and every day.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE PLAN OF SALVATION???

The purpose of our Father's plan of salvation is truly your salvation into the kingdom of heavenly glory, as you gain "the testimony of Jesus" and give your whole soul to Him. This is not to exclude you. The goal of our Father's great plan of happiness is your happiness, here, now, and throughout the eternities. It is not to hinder your happiness or cause you worry and fear instead. The purpose of our Father's plan of redemption is to redeem you, to save you through the suffering and death of Jesus Christ, to free you from the captivity that comes from sin and death. It’s not about leaving yourself as you are. The purpose of our Father's plan of mercy is to grant you mercy as you return to Him and honour your commitment to be faithful to Him. It is not to deny it to you and inflict pain and sorrow on yourself.

What are things we need to do to follow Jesus Christ and become one of his disciples?
Moroni 8:25 And the first fruits of repentance is baptism; and baptism cometh by faith unto the fulfilling the commandments; and the fulfilling the commandments bringeth remission of sins;

We learn from the scripture that the first fruits of repentance are being baptised, and that is us acting on our faith. As we follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we will be changed and become a true disciple.

Sometimes, we keep the commandments, but nothing changes, no blessings, yet we try with all our hearts, but nothing changes!!
"Elder Jeffrey R. Holland taught: “Some blessings come soon, some come late, and some don’t come until heaven; but for those who embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ, they come"
