โ€œJudas, would you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?โ€ โ€” Luke 22:48

Not a weapon.
Not a shout.
A kiss.

Something sacred
used to conceal treachery.

In The Bible, a kiss was never casual.
It was a sign of loyalty, honor, peace, and covenant (Psalm 2:12).
It expressed belonging.
It revealed affection.
It was how love was made visible.

But in the garden, that same sign became a mask.

Judas did not invent something evil
he corrupted something holy.

He could have pointed.
He could have spoken.
He could have simply touched Him.

But he chose a kiss.

Because a kiss requires closeness.
It steps into intimacy.
It carries the language of devotion.

Judas did not betray from a distance
he came near.

Close enough to touch Him.
Close enough to look like he belonged.
Close enough to appear faithful.

A kiss says, โ€œI am with you.โ€
But Judas used it to mean, โ€œI am handing you over.โ€

It was not just betrayal
it was betrayal disguised as love.

And that is what makes it terrifying:

Not everything that looks like love comes from God.

The kiss was unmistakable.
In the darkness, it became the clearest sign.

And yet
the clearest sign of identification
became the clearest sign of rejection.

This is the deeper warning:

The most dangerous form of evil
is not what appears hostileโ€”
but what appears holy.

Judas came like a follower.
He spoke like a disciple.
He acted like he belonged.

But proximity is not devotion.
Familiarity is not surrender.

He walked with Jesus.
He heard every word.
He witnessed every miracle.

Yet his heart remained his own.

And if we are honest
this is where conviction must fall on us.

We can sing His name
and still resist His Lordship.
We can speak truth
and still live in compromise.
We can stand near the cross
and still refuse to die with Him.

Not every kiss comes from God.

Some worship is only on the lips.
Some devotion is only performance.
Some closeness is only appearance.

And stillโ€”
when Jesus Christ was kissed by Judas Iscariot, He did not pull away.

He received the kiss.
He called him friend (Matthew 26:50).
He stepped forward.

Not because He was deceived
but because He was determined.

This is the weight of the Gospel:

Christ was not overpowered by betrayal
He chose to endure it.

The kiss did not send Him to the cross.
Love did.

Betrayal did not take His life.
He laid it down.

The kiss was only the sign
the cross was always the choice.

So now the question turns to us.

Are we truly Hisโ€”
or only near Him?

Are we surrendered
or just familiar?

Because it is possible
to kiss the face of Jesusโ€ฆ
and still reject His Lordship.

Because the most dangerous place to be
is not far from Christโ€”
but near Him without surrender.

Turn. Now.

Do not offer Him a life that looks devoted
but remains divided.

Lay down the hidden sin.
Confess what youโ€™ve been covering.
Surrender what youโ€™ve been withholding.

Do not delay.

Choose repentance.
Choose Christ
Choose life.

Because the same Savior
who was betrayed by a kiss
still receives sinners
who come in truth.

The church in Jerusalem was alive with the Spirit. Believers shared everything they had.

(Acts 2:44).

There was not a needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold 35 and laid it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need. (Acts 2:34โ€“35).

No applause.
No recognition.
Just hearts surrendered to God.

Then came Barnabas. He sold a field and brought the full price.

Quiet.
Humble.
Genuine.
God honored himโ€”not for recognition, but because his heart was fully surrendered.

But then came Ananias and Sapphira. They sold a piece of property, but with his wifeโ€™s knowledge, he kept back part of the money while pretending it was everything and laid it at the apostlesโ€™ feet (Acts 5:2).

On the surface, it looked generous. But their hearts told a different story. They wanted honor. They wanted recognition. They wanted the praise others might giveโ€”but without the cost.

Peter confronted them: โ€œ

The Spirit sees beyond our gifts. He knows our hearts.

The consequence was immediate. Ananias fell and breathed his last (Acts 5:5). Three hours later, Sapphira came in, fell at his feet, and breathed her last (Acts 5:9

Godโ€™s holiness cannot be bargained with. Sincerity matters more than show. Integrity matters more than image.

The challenge for us today:

In our world, giving can easily become a performance:

We donate to be seen on social media.
We serve in church to earn praise or status.
Helping people but only for the show.
We give to appear generous, while our hearts remain elsewhere.

Giving is beautiful when it flows from devotion. It becomes dangerous when it becomes performance.

We may give, we may serve, we may appear generous like Barnabas,
but are our hearts truly surrendered?
Are we giving to honor God or to be seen?
Are we serving from devotion or for applause?

The Spirit searches hearts.
He calls for honesty, integrity, and devotion that cannot be staged.

Do not wait for human approval.
Let God be your audience, your judge, your joy.

The question pierces across time:
Do you want to be known as faithfulโ€”or to be faithful?

Choose integrity over image.
Choose devotion over recognition.
Choose Godโ€™s approval above all.

Your gift. Your heart. Your life. Let them be fully His.

Today, ask yourself:

Are you giving to be seen, or are you giving to be surrendered?

SUIClDE VICTIMS DOES NOT 'REST IN PEACE'

WHAT YOU MUST KNOW ABOUT SUIClDE

Su***de is not merely a psychological collapse as many think: it is a spiritual assault. It is not born in a moment, it is incubated in a battlefield unseen. Behind the silence of depression, the weight of shame, and the ache of disappointment, there is often a darker whisper: a voice that says, "End it" such a voice does not originate from God.

Scripture in John 10:10 reveals that the enemy comes "to steal, to kill, and to destroy". The spirit behind su***de is aligned with that destructive agenda. Pain, trauma, rejection, financial hardship, betrayal, and emotional wounds are real but they are not the ultimate cause. They are only but instruments. They are pressure points demons exploits to work on the victims soul.

The demonic strategy behind suic!de is to magnify temporary suffering until it appears eternal, to shrink hope until it seems nonexistent, and to isolate the soul until it feels abandoned by God Himself.

Consider Judas Iscariot. After betraying Christ, remorse overwhelmed him. Yet instead of running toward mercy, he ran toward self-destruction. Conviction could have led him to repentance, as it did for Peter after denial. But despair_ weaponized by the same enemy drove Judas to hang himself. The difference was not the gravity of sin; it was the response to it. One yielded to hope, the other surrendered to hopelessness.

What I want us to first understand is that suic!de is not simply an emotional act; it is basically demonic, it is a surrender to a lie. The lie says your pain is permanent. The lie says you are beyond redemption. The lie says God has abandoned you. But in Psalm 34:18, the testimony of Scripture speaks the contrary: "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted" When a person feels furthest from God, that is often when He is closest.

I came to discover that many don't know the eternal consequences of suic!de, I'm often worried when I see people post of a suic!de victim and the response of the masses is often "Rest in peace" that is actually not the truth, suc!de victims have no place with God in eternity (let's draw this line clearly,so that the living can learn instead of covering up with sweet words that doesn't help anybody in the after-life)

Spiritually, su***de carries grave implications because it terminates earthly opportunity for repentance, reconciliation, and restoration. Life is a divine trust. To prematurely end it is to step outside God's sovereignty in a final, irreversible decision. Eternity is not governed by emotion but by covenant. Salvation rests in Christ, not in the last emotion one feels. At the same time, no one should trivialize the seriousness of dying in a state of despair and unbelief. Someone taking his own life is someone that had already lost faith in God and it is faith in God that is the only guarantee for eternal life.
God alone judges perfectly and righteously, but Scripture never presents self-murder as spiritually neutral.

Although I am aware this must be said with trembling: suic!de does not end pain, it transfers the soul into eternity. And eternity is not an abstract idea; it is a reality governed by divine justice and mercy. Therefore, no one should gamble their eternal destiny on a moment of overwhelming darkness.

The message that I'm passing here is not to condemn the wounded; but rather to expose the enemy. If you are battling such thoughts, then you should understand this: the very intensity of the attack reveals the value of your life. Hell does not fight what is insignificant. The presence of suic!dal thoughts is not proof of your weakness; it is evidence of spiritual warfare.

Anyone battling with suic!dal thoughts and imaginations please hear me, do not isolate. Do not conceal the struggle. Demons thrive in secrecy; they weaken in exposure. Speak. Pray. Seek counsel. Cry out. There is no shame in seeking spiritual and professional help. God uses community, counsel, and even medical wisdom as instruments of deliverance.

And never you come to the point of thinking humans are the reason you want to end your own life, whatever a human does or would do that will make you come to such conclusion is not about the human or the action, demons are only using those actions to torment you!

Life is sacred because it is breathed by God. Despair is loud, but it is not sovereign. Darkness can press hard, but it cannot override divine purpose unless a person consents to it.

No pain, however deep, has the authority to dictate your eternal outcome.

Choose life. Even if you choose it trembling.

Even if you have to choose it in tears. Choose it one more day.

Because as long as there is breath, there is hope and as long as there is hope, the enemy has not won, I assure you!

BREAK THE CHAINS โ›“๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Have you ever felt like something is holding you back in life, yet you canโ€™t quite put your finger on what it is? You try everythingโ€”working harder, staying positive, connecting with peopleโ€”but itโ€™s like running on a treadmill: youโ€™re moving, but youโ€™re not going anywhere. Thatโ€™s what invisible chains feel like.

Invisible chains are spiritual or emotional limitations that are not immediately obvious, but they severely hinder our progress, peace, and purpose. These chains could manifest as chronic fear, depression, poverty cycles, spiritual stagnation, unhealthy patterns in relationships, addictions, or constant failure at the edge of breakthrough. You might not see any physical rope tying you down, but something just isnโ€™t letting you go forward. Thatโ€™s because the battle is spiritual.
