Climaxing Our 2024 Christmas Convention

Our 2024 Christmas Convention culminated successfully, having commenced on Thursday evening, 26th. The overarching theme for this year's convention was "Jesus, the Savior, has been born to you" (Luke 2:11).

On Sunday, the concluding remarks were delivered by the Rev. Francis Gasue, the Resident Minister for Bimbagu District with his address centered on the pivotal role of Faith in the Christian life. He articulated that faith constitutes the bedrock of our Christian journey, emphasizing that our salvation hinges on our belief in God's existence.

Romans 10:9 affirms this truth, stating that openly proclaiming Jesus as Lord is the pathway to salvation. The Pastor underscored the spiritual nature of God, emphasizing that genuine belief in Him leads to salvation. He further stressed the necessity of aligning our lives with God's will, requiring a transformative shift in our conduct.

He highlighted the importance of activating our faith to please God, as found in Hebrews 11:6b. He further quoted from Romans 1:17, which declares: "The just shall live by faith," underscoring that pleasing God is impossible without faith. Rev. Francis concluded by emphasizing the need for self-assessment regarding our level of faith in God as a crucial step towards discerning our standing with Him.

Inter-zonal quiz competition organized during the women's ministry week 2024. Even though it rained, all zones were represented and Gbingbanchet zone zone after they tied with Central zone, and they had to be repeated with three round of questions.

The week was well patronized, and a lot were learned, including "living in peace with your".
