Catechists' continuous training.

Seventeen (17) catechists have received refresher training during the 2026 Upper Presbytery catechists' continuous training programme. The two-day programme, which came on 31st July and 1st August at the Farmers Training center, Pusu-Namongo was facilitated by the Chairperson, Rev Roger A. Wegurih, the Clerk, Rev Anthony A. Ayeida and the Mission & Evangelism Director, Rev Ebenezer Asiedu.

Topics treated included
• culture as a pointer to the gospel,
• the message, the agent and the context
• fundraising strategies: beyond tithes and offerings
• conditions of service for catechists
The catechists were drawn from across the 15 districts of the Presbytery

Ebenezer Congregation, Walewale, launches 70 yrs. anniversary celebration

The Ebenezer congregation in Walwale has launched their 70th anniversary celebrations with an evangelism float through the principal streets of Walewale.

The launch took place on Sunday, 12th July, 2026. This marks the beginning of the celebrations, which will climax on 29th November, 2026.
