CHURCH OF PENTECOST BOGOSO DISTRICT PEMEM ORGANIZES ‘’OBERIMA NKWAN’’
The kitchen is seen as the reserve of women in Ghana and Africa as a whole.
However the status quo was changed on the first Sunday of the year 2018 as the Pentecost Men Ministry PEMEM in the Bogoso District organized a programme dubbed; Berima Nkwan.
They grabbed ladles and utensils to prepare sumptuous meals for the entire membership of the church in the district.
Men slaughtered a cow, went to the market to buy ingredients and prepared varieties of food.
Women and children in the church were given a special treat as PEMEM leaders together with the Bogoso District Pastor, Rev Joseph Kwame Agbemor adorned themselves with PEMEM designed aprons to serve the congregation.
Speaking in an interview, Rev JK Agbemor who also doubles as a PEMEM National Executive Member noted that Berima Nkwan was designed to put smiles on the faces of members of the church especially women and children.
The Bogoso District PEMEM leader, Elder Vincent Kofi Agyei Abotiate urged the men to practice what they exhibited at their various homes to help their wives and children.
With smiles on their faces, the women and children joined the cue to have a taste of the handiworks of their husbands and fathers. They left the central auditorium of the Bogoso District with smiles written at their faces.
