TITLE: Knowing the ways of the Lord.

TEXT: Psalms and Exodus

Psalms 103:7, Exodus 33:14-23.

What is a way? A way is a directive or a path to a destination.
What are the ways of God? Do we know the ways of God?

The way of the Lord is Jesus—John 14:6.
All the ways are embedded in Jesus. The first and one of the ways of the way of the Lord is Jesus. In order for humans to access the ways of the Lord, we must come to the place of accepting Jesus.

Also, the ways of the Lord may seem foolishly in the sight of humans. But, humans must appreciate that those things that seem foolishly are the ways of the Lord—1 Corinthians 1:25

The ways of the Lord are not always perfect, but he who follows will surely be a blessing. Like the broad and narrow ways in the scripture, it may seem not to be right, but the end is success and glorious.

In order for humans to know the ways of the Lord, we must know the word of the Lord by studying and meditating. King David, a man after the Lord's own heart, walked in the ways of the Lord by meditating on his word.

Humans must also be patient with the ways of the Lord. A walk of patience is a knowing and walking in the ways of the Lord—Psalms 37:7

Prayer also constitutes knowing the ways of the Lord. Believers must come to the place of engaging intense prayer to access clear ways of the Lord—Jeremiah 29:12

*TEXT:* Psalm

The blessing of God is not necessarily and only on materialistics, but comes from these:

*1. The peace of God*
Psalms 29:11
[11]The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace.

The peace of God is the basis of the blessing of God. It's one of the greatest blessings of God. For this reason, we must look forward to walking in this peace.

*2. Long life*
Psalms 91:15-16
[15]He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.
[16]With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.”

This also forms a part of the blessings of God. This is when an individual lives this life to the fulness.

*3. Good children*
Psalms 128:5-6
[5]The Lord bless you out of Zion, And may you see the good of Jerusalem All the days of your life.
[6]Yes, may you see your children’s children. Peace be upon Israel!

The Lord is the giver of good children. For your children to be obedient and good, arise from the place of God.
