_Adam's response to God's question of where art thou was that, *"I hid myself."* Nobody can walk in dominion by hiding himself or herself from the Omniscient God. He knows everything, everyone, and everywhere. The Psalmist knew this and so he said; *"Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?"* [Psalm 139:7]. The only thing that can cover a man's sin and disgrace is the blood of Jesus. Therefore, the hiding place for the sinner is in the arms of Jesus, at the cross where all debts of sin were paid. Why will you not come to Jesus now? It is on record that, *Adam and Eve never repented.* They died in their sin because they chose to hide instead of coming boldly to God and saying;_

_*"We are sorry, forgive us our disobedience, and give us a second chance to live in the garden."* They rather played a blame game, and happily accepted to leave the garden to start life outside God's glorious dome. And that nature of *"hide and seek"* has become the lifestyle of sinners and backsliders as they do evil in the dark. God however, sees them and their sins of fornication, abortion, adultery, idolatry, witchcraft, lies, stealing, etc, and would reward them openly in hellfire except they repent. *"He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy"* [Proverbs 28:13]. Do not live in sin and do not die as a sinner. Adam was in the garden and said, *"I hid myself."* So, it is possible that you are in church but hiding in sin under the covering of religious titles or activities. *Repent else you perish!* But God is merciful even to forgive you now. AVOID SLEEPING SPIRITUALLY. Acts 20:9

"A certain young man named Eutychus sat in the window, weighed down with deep sleep. As Paul spoke still longer, being weighed down by his sleep, he fell down from the third floor and was taken up dead."

Most of us are dozing and sleeping whilst the Apostles, prophets, pastors,Evangelists and teachers are preaching and preaching.There is a spirit of heaviness wearing down our spiritual life,we no longer care about the revelations God is revealing through His servants.There are true indications of backsliding which are easily observed in most of Christians today.We have lost spiritual fire,no interest in fellowshipping, reading the Bible and church attendance has gone so low.When spiritual materials becomes annoyance just know that you are falling from grace.Such people hate those that correct them and mistake it for being judged.They select verses from the bible that are wrongly interpreted to suit to their weeknesses.Let us avoid spiritual sleepiness,Eutytus was lucky because Paul the true servant of God was around and he revived him back to life.These powerful men and women of God won't be there at your disposal forever,do not relax spiritually because you may die in your sin and that's the bad end of your life.When you die in sin that's the end of your world and there is no chance of repentance,if this happens just know you are hell bound.

*PRAYER*:

Forgive my backsliding oh Lord.Reinkindle the spiritual fire in me that is fast dying and smouldering ,so that I shouldn't fall from from your grace and die spiritually and physically in Jesus Christ mighty name Amen.
