*TEXT: Deuteronomy 1:7*

*EXPOSITION*
Acamp is a temporal place of abode. The military, footballers and others camp themselves to prepare for what is ahead them.
Students, churches and other people/institutions go on camping with the notion of coming back but if they stay there permanently the authomatically become refugees.
Beloved a camp is not a permanent place of abode/dwelling.
As Christians there certain stages we need to move forward or advance.
You can't be a baby Christian forever. Desire to move forward.
If footballers, Military,and other players decide not to move out of their camps because they are comfortable,then victory will never be their portion no matter how hard the have prepared prepared they are.
Don't be a stagnant Christian,move forward in your Christain life.
Desire and work towards more spiritual gifts, evangelism, reading the Bible, paying your tithes, allowing yourself for corrections and work towards your salvation.
In conclusion move out your comfort zone and advance so that whatever God has in store for you will be accomplished.
Spend some time in prayer and fasting,dedicating yourself to Bible studies, depriving yourself from sleep sometimes and wait upon the Lord for your labour will not be in vain.

May God help us to break camp (move from our comfort zones) and advance to greatness

*EXPOSITION*
God in his own wisdom has a purpose for everything that happens in our lives.
If you are living a Godly life, have prayed rightfully and done everything any Good Christian ought to do but you're still facing problems,crises and challenges count it all joy for God is preparing you for greater things ahead.
At certain a point in life everything seems to be going wrong in our lives not because we have not fasted,prayed,live a holy live or have faith but it is our endurance and faith which is been tested so that it might grow, develop fully, perfect and complete needing nothing.
God in his own wisdom has a perfect plan for us. A plan that will lead us to a glorious and victorious end.
As my Pastor, Papa Jeremiah will say"we must have the crazy faith".
Don't give up for all things are working together for good.
Let's count it all joy and stop blaming God.
Ask God for his plans concerning your life and let him help you to come out of the situation victoriously.
May God help us to overcome all challenges,trials, temptations and crises and emerge victoriously and complete in Jesus mighty name.

So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing."(NLT)

*EXPOSITION*
As Virtuous Christians living for Christ,we may be going through some changes,trials, temptations, rejection and so on.
But if this happens we shouldn't become weary but consider it all joy for when everything is over our glory and reward will be greater than the loss.
Sometimes you have to pass through the worst in order to become the best.

Before gold can be processed to beautiful and dignified accessories it must go through fire.

Before any raw food item can be cooked into a delicious meal it must go through fire (heat)
Before you can become a good leader you must go through disappointments, rejections, denials and so many challenges in order to bring the good leadership qualities in you.
Joseph was sold by his brothers, accused by Potiphar's wife,thrown into prison in order to him to become a good prime minister.
So brethren let's be steadfast and unmovable abounding in the works of the Lord for our labour will not be in vain and our endurance will bring glorification.

And because of these let's consider it all joy when we are going through difficult situations for our endurance will develop us to become perfect and complete.

*EXPOSITION*
In all things we should give thanks to the Lord.
He is the alpha and Omega.
He is the author and finisher of our Faith.
Without the Lord we are nothing.

Where you are now is by grace.
Our heart should always be filled with thanks giving and praises.

We mostly give thanks to the Lord when he does something good to us but the Bible is telling us that in all things we should give thanks to the Lord.

We should give thanks to the Lord for everything in Jesus name.
Prophet Isaiah said
Isaiah 54:1“Sing, barren woman,
you who never bore a child;
burst into song, shout for joy,
you who were never in labor;
because more are the children of the desolate woman
than of her who has a husband,”

Thanksgiving and praises open doors for miracles, heading and blessings.

Let Thanksgiving and praises be part of you and God will move greatly in your life.

"When Moses's arms grew tired, Aaron and Hurt brought a stone for him to sit on, while they stood
beside him and held up his arms, holding them steady until the sun went down. In this way Joshua totally defeated the Amalakites".

*EXPOSITION*
One of the vital things which help in the planting and growth of the church is teamwork.
We have one body of Christ with different parts.And before these parts can work successfully they must come together.
All these parts are interdependence on each other.

As Christians we have different people with different position,talents, leadership skills,potentials and knowledge but all these are interference on one another.
Before a preacher can preach successfully there must be an audience.
Even though we don't preach while the preacher is giving the word, our actions can motivate him.
In the same way the choir/singers can't function well without the instrumentalists,backers,dancers, audience and the rest.

In today's reading the Amalakites came and attacked the Israelites.
Moses ordered Joshua to select men to go with him and fight them.
And he also went to the top of the Hill with the staff of the Lord in his hands.
But when Moses's hand is held high the Isrealites win but whenever he lower his hands the Amalakites win.
When he grew tired, Aaron and Hur even though they were not allowed to hold the staff of the Lord decided that they will give a seat to Moses,hold his hand to obtain victory.
What a great and selfless teamwork.

Joshua was able to defeat the Amalakites.
From what they did,we must team up in the work of God in whatever way you can.
So that we may be victorious.
Teamwork will prosper the church.
Team up to build the kingdom of God.

May God help us to be able to team up in his work so that his work will always prosper in Jesus name.

Text:1 Corinthians 3:3-6 You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere humans? For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not mere human beings?
What, after all, is Apollos?And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.(NIV)

*EXPOSITION*
I bleed when I see Christians who are suppose to know better quarreling and fighting among themselves in Churches.
While we are suppose be agent of peace,salt and light of world.
Most Christians are fighting among themselves just because of position.
Even politicians now are gladly accepting defeat.

There is so much division in the church because of leadership.
Because the current leader is not your favorite you have made up your mind to backbite,make him unpopular, rebel and above all make their leadership the worst for them.
But bear in mind that you can also be in that position one-day.

Ask yourself that what I'm doing to my current leadership will I also be happy when the same thing is done to me.

As church we are one body of Christ with different branches.
Let's come together,arise and build the church of God.
The leader cannot lead alone.
Division kills church growth.

We must act as people in the spirit not worldly people.
If we quarrel and divide the church then,we are not different from the politicians.
Let's unit for a course and the church will grow.

I pray that God will give us the ability and strength to be United in the church of God.

Text:1 Corinthians 3:1Brothers in the church have different family, cultural, emotional, phycological, environmental background.
If this happens we shouldn't be quick to condemn others.
It's only when they are going contrary to God that we can rebuke/correct them in love.
Understand the person and your work with him will be much easier.
Even twins have different personal traits.

This happened in the church in Corinthians and it brought division in the church.
I belong to Paul,I belong to Appolo but they all have different tasks and anointing.
Paul planted and Appolos watered it but God made it grow.

Let's unite with our leaders, help them,come together and be united for a course (the growth of the church)
Division in the church kills.
Grouping in the church kills.
You can never have an impartation from someone you don't value and accord.

*EXPOSITION*
Know Jesus and allow him to be your shepherd.

"The psalmist said the Lord is my shepherd.I shall not want"This means if Christ is your shepherd,you don't have to worry.

With Jesus being the shepherd he will lead you to greener pastures. He is the author and finisher of our Faith.

Without Christ Christianity is meaningless. He is the Hallmark of Christianity so let him be your shepherd and trust in his dealings for he has a perfect plan for you.

He said I'm the God shepherd. He Calls his sheep and his sheep knows his voice.
He comes in the pen anytime he wants because he is the owner of the sheep.

He protect them from wolves attack.

Do you know Jesus as your shepherd?
Do you know his voice?
When he calls you, do you recognize his voice?
Do you trust in his leading?
Have you allowed another person other than Christ to be your shepherd?

Let Christ lead you and be your shepherd and he will never forsake you.

_Text: John 10:1-11_

*EXPOSITION*

In the olden days when you go to places where they rear animals, it's common for different flocks under the care of different shepherds to put all the sheep together into one sheep pen at night. This pen was often attached to the side of a home, was surrounded by a short wall, and that wall was topped with either briars or some other prickly bush. The purpose of the wall was two fold: keep the sheep in and keep bad men and wolves out. A gatekeeper would be hired to ensure that only the shepherd of the sheep had access to the sheep. Only the shepherd of the sheep could come in and only the shepherd of the sheep could lead the sheep out.

Jesus said in verse 2, “he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the gatekeeper opens.”

The shepherd is only the one who has the right access to the sheep and only the shepherd has authority over the sheep. And what differentiate the shepherd from all others? He enters by the door and to him the gatekeeper opens.

Jesus said in verse 11, “I am the good shepherd.” He’s teaching us how to recognize him and follow only him.

When Jesus enters by the door, the shepherd and the gatekeeper will open it to him. This makes Jesus the only lawful, capable, and authoritative shepherd of the sheep. Jesus came openly, selflessly, and lovingly in order to purchase his sheep, care for his sheep, and lead his sheep into meaningful glorious brides.
Let Jesus in and he will be your best shepherd.

Let Jesus be your shepherd and he will lead you to the best always.
It may tarry but will surely happen in Jesus name.

_Text: John 10:1-6 1 “Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber. 2 The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. 5 But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.” 6 Jesus used this figure of speech, but the Pharisees did not understand what he was telling them.(NIV)_

*EXPOSITION*
As Christians we are like sheeps in a Pen/manger.
And the shepherd always comes to the sheep through the gate but the enemy don't pass through the gate.
He always pass through different ways other than the gate.(climbs by some other way)
He comes mainly to steal,kill and destroy.

Jesus Christ is our good shepherd always enter through the gate.
As a sheep always follow it's shepherd by listening to his voice,we should follow Jesus Christ our great shepherd and allow him to lead us.

The shepherd only has the right to access the sheep and he alone has the authority over them.
Is Jesus the only one who has asses to your life and authority over you?
Do you recognize Jesus's voice when he speaks to you?
Is Jesus your shepherd or you have allowed the thief to be your shepherd.
Let Jesus be your shepherd and he will lead to a glorious end.

*EXPOSITION*

As Virtuous Christians living for Christ we must be strong in the Lord and the power of his might. To be able to achieve this we need to put on the full amour of God.

Putting the full armour of means all the qualities and attributes of a Virtuous Christian must operate in full( not half but full)

✓Belt of truth.
Truthfulness is the Hallmark of every good Christian hence belt of truth.

✓Breastplate of rightousness.
Without rightousness our heart and soul will become prone to the world and the devil.

✓feet fitted with the gospel of peace.
Peace is needed in the life of every Christian cos even Christ is the prince of peace.

✓sheild of faith.
Faith is our shield as Christians.
Without faith Christians and the world are like Covid19 patients and doctors.
You are prone to the virus if don't wear PPEs. Faith is our PPE against the sinful world.

✓helmet of salvation.
Without salvation our faith is meaningless.

✓sworf of the spirit (word of God)
The word of God is the sword of the believer which help us in the battlefield.

We put put on all these armour in full so that we can be strong in the Lord.

May God help us to put on the full armour so that we can be strong in him and in the power of His might in Jesus name.
