*CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR 21ST SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME — 23RD AUGUST, 2026*
Greetings 👋🏽 to we all wonderful parishioners. I’m of the hope that all is well with us all. Please let’s take note of the following announcements for the week;
📍There shall be two 2️⃣ Masses come next Sunday;
- 1st Mass - 7:00am
- 2nd Mass - 9:15am
📍Morning masses throughout the week will be celebrated each day at 6am, except on;
- Tuesday Healing Mass - 5:00am
- Thursday Youth Mass - 7:00pm
📍Feast and Memorials this week;
- Mon 24/08/ – St. Bartholomew
- Thurs 27/08/ – St. Monica, married woman, Mother of St. Augustine
- Fri 28/08/ – St. Augustine, bishop, doctor of the church
- Sat 29/08/ – The Beheading of John the Baptist
📍Bidding Prayers and Offertory for next Sunday;
- 1st Mass - Cadet and Jnr Auxiliary of St. John Int and offertory by all congregants
- 2nd Mass - Catholic Women Association (CWA)

📍Catechism classes for the period of vacation is on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4pm — 5pm. Please parents let’s encourage our wards to come for morning masses throughout the week.
📍 Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Coffie will like to express his greatest appreciation to Parish priest, PPC and the entire parishioners for their generosity, love 🥰❤️ and prayers during his stay in Axim and farewell as well. He prays for God’s blessings for all, Amen🙏🏽!
📍The children and entire family of the late Mrs. Augustina Hamilton a.k.a Nana Ɛba II also extend their heartfelt gratitude to Parish priests, PPC and all parishioners for their presence, support and prayers during their time of sorrows. God bless us all.
📍The burial 🪦 of the late Mr. James Sey Yankson comes this Saturday 29th August, 2026 at Elubo. *Attire is Black and White. Bus 🚌 is free and time to set off is 6:00am. By 5:30am, we are all at the church premises.*
📍St. Theresa of the Child Jesus society will have their meeting come next Sunday at 4:00pm. During the week, there will be an emergency meeting so please do show up as a member if you hear of it.
📍Manye Academy celebrates her 30years anniversary this year. Celebrations commences from 21st October to 31st October, 2026. Thanksgiving Mass will be on 1st November, 2026.
📍As part of our Youth Harvest, there’s going to be contributions towards the success of the harvest. The breakdown is below;
- Lower Primary students, B3 downwards — GH¢10.00 each
- Upper Primary, B4 – B6 —GH¢15.00 each
- JHS 1-3 — GH¢20.00 each
- SHS 1-3 — GH¢50.00 each
- University students and workers — GH¢100.00 each
