NATIONAL YOUTH WEEK CELEBRATION
Day 3 continued in the same vein as Day 1 and 2 celebrations. A week earmarked for the Youth of the church, Deaconess Monica Kwawu spoke on the theme, âThe Christian Youth and the Sex-Mad Worldâ.
The speaker empathized with the youth and felt sorry for all as the world is full of perversion. âFrom Music videos to social media, fashion to adverts, all are channeled to one thing - Sexâ, she mentioned.
In a rather cold atmosphere, the warmth of a motherâs love was visible as she was passionate about the growing trend of this new âill-normâ that may be gaining grounds in the church.
She bemoaned and further admonished the Youth to stay away from these destiny-changing activities as people are forced to marry and live with others who may possibly not be their destined spouses. âThere is so much power in Sexâ she said, âs*x shouldnât be taken for granted because it changes destiniesâ.
Advising the youth, Mama Monica as affectionately called, outlined a renewal of mindset and working on the mindset to stay away from s*x till marriage. She further advised the youth to check the conversations they have, check their friends and companions and at all cost, avoid cohabitation.
The service, albeit a gentle reminder couldnât have come at a better time as the Youth agreed with her to become better.
After learning at the feet of @âšDeaconess Monica Kwawuâ© last night, the activities continue tonight and tonight is about learning at the feet of our Fathers.
Join in as we celebrate the youth week observing all precautionary protocols and become better people.
God richly bless you
