Youth Mass – Today, Wednesday, 18th June, 2025
Time: 7:00pm
Topic: “Rooted in Christ, Growing in Faith, Serving in Love” (Colossians 2:6-7)

Dear Young People and Parishioners in Christ,
Life as a youth today comes with so many pressures — school, work, relationships, identity, purpose. Sometimes it feels like we’re just trying to stay afloat.

That’s why this month's Youth Mass isn’t just another gathering — it’s a moment for you. A moment to reconnect, reflect, and recharge.

This Topic speaks right to the heart of what we need:
✅ Rooted in Christ – So we don’t lose ourselves in the chaos.
✅ Growing in Faith – Because spiritual maturity helps us make better choices.
✅ Serving in Love – Turning our struggles into strength by lifting others.

“Should You Tell Your Friend If They Have Body Odour?”

The Catholic Youth Organisation (CYO) of Blessed Clementina Parish on the first Sunday of Lent engaged in a thought-provoking debate on whether one should inform a friend about their body odour.
The discussion was insightful, intense, and filled with wisdom, as both sides presented strong arguments.

At the end of the debate, the house leaned towards the view that telling or not telling a friend is dependent on how it is done. Thus, telling when done with love, kindness, and discretion—is the right thing to do. After all, true friendship is about helping each other grow, not just in faith but in all aspects of life. Not telling on the other hand can be considered provided actions are taken to engage in personal hygiene. This will make the person more comfortable than telling which may cause embarrassment.

However, the bigger takeaway was this: Personal hygiene is essential! Let’s all make a conscious effort to practice good hygiene habits—regular bathing, wearing clean clothes, and using deodorants—to stay fresh and confident in our daily interactions.

A healthy body reflects a healthy spirit. Let’s be mindful of our hygiene and also help our friends in a loving and respectful way. Together, we grow stronger!💪🏽

🙏🏽💪🏽 Thank You for Making ‘Get Fit 4 Christ – Independence Day Edition’ a Success! 🇬🇭🎉

Dear Blessed Clementina Parish Youth,

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who showed up, stretched, sweated, and celebrated with us at our ‘Get Fit 4 Christ – Independence Day Edition’ aerobics session! Your energy,l and enthusiasm made the event an unforgettable one.

We see it more than just exercising, it was fellowship, fun, and a commitment to honoring God with our bodies (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we hope you left feeling stronger, healthier, and more connected as a community.

For those who couldn’t make it, don’t worry, we’ll be back! Stay tuned for the next session, and don’t miss out on the chance to refresh your body, mind, and spirit. Let’s keep the momentum going because fitness is not just a routine; it’s a lifestyle in Christ!
