The Rt. Rev. Samuel Mensah (Foso Diocesan Bishop) writes.....
Good morning my dear brothers and sisters in the vineyard of God.
Let me first thank you for your wonderful commitment and your overwhelming support before and during the final funeral rites for our late brother and sister, (The late Very Rev. Alex K. Aidoo & Mrs. Helena Aidoo).
It is my prayer that the good Lord will replenish your barns accordingly.
DECLARATION OF THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER AS PRAYER MONTH FOR DIOCESE AND THE CHURCH OF GOD
Brethren, i urge you strongly to plan for your Circuits and Societies, a month long prayer programme for the Diocese, The Methodist Church Ghana and the Christian Church as a whole.
I see an orchestrated attempts by the forces of negation to seriously attack the church as i have outlined.
Let programmes cover morning prayer meetings and evenings as well. Where possible let there be afternoon sessions on mid-days. Encourage fasting strongly throughout the month.
Take not to cover these areas:
1. A spiritual Revival for the Diocese, The Methodist Church Ghana the Church as a whole.
2. Pray against demonic powers rising against the Diocese and the other lines mentioned.
3. Pray against the LGTBQ+ issue never to be accepted in Ghana.
(b) Pray against International Demonic groups and forces fighting against our parliamentarians who are pushing for the criminalization of the Ant-LGTBQ+ Bill.
4. Pray seriously for our Youth and Children in Schools and Children in general that God will save them from planned demonic infections.
5. Pray seriously for economic breakthrough for our members and the Country as a whole
Please we are starting from 1st -30th November, 2021.
Please, announce this in your Societies today and sent the message across.
Those of you having Camp Meetings, take advantage to give fire to intercede fervently for the church as i have directed.
Get your Prayer Towers to sit up and pray for the Diocese, The Methodist Church Ghana, Christianity and the Nation until the glory of God is seen.
Organize All- Night Services in your Societies and Circuits.
There Shall be a Diocesan All- Night Prayer Vigil at the Cathedral on the last Friday of November.
Please, Synod Secretary, let this message get to all concerned.
May God who has directed his church grants us success in Jesus' name. Amen.
Thank you all.
