1. *_WORRY*_ means to feel or cause to feel anxious or troubled about a potential or actual problems. According to the passage, *WORRY* means anxious about tomorrow, what to eat, drink or wear.

2. *VALUABLE* is to be extremely useful or important or of great worth.

*I. EVERY CHRISTIAN SHOULD DESIRE THE HOLY CITY BECAUSE THE PRESENT HEAVEN AND EARTH WILL NOT ENDURE FOREVER (V 1- 3)*

*ENDURE:* Permanent, lasting or to be forever.

A. Firstly, they will pass away (v1b)

B. The Holy City will come/ New earth ( v2)

×It will be a place of Hope (Heb.12: 22)

×Jerusalem will be above (Gal. 4: 26) and

×The place of real citizenship (Phil. 3: 2b)

C. God will Dwell amongst them (v3b)

Theme: REMAINING IN JESUS "THE VINE"

*REMAIN: Means to continue to exist, especially after other similar people or things ceased to do so. Contextually, TO REMAIN IN JESUS (the Vine) connotes refusal to withdraw from the faith in times of pruning, percussion, porverty, affliction, fear, backbiting and distress when others have given up.

*TO BEAR FRUIT: Means being productive or yielding benefits

Why Should Christians Remain in Christ?

I. Because It Is Possible to Bear Fruit. (v4-5)

A. One cannot bear fruit by itself/independently ( v4a)

B. It is a must/Obligatory to Remain in Christ to bear fruit (v4b)

C. You will Bear Fruit Abundantly/Much (v5b)

APPLICATION
×As surely as you remain in Christ your success is guaranteed
×Many may have given up on you, your family, friends, colleagues and even the devil itself has given up on you, but God isn't giving up on you if you can hold onto the faith.
×If you can remain in Jesus, your fruitfulness is assured
×I declare over your life Galatians 5: 22 spiritual fruitfulness right now
×Not only shall you bear the fruit of the spirit, you shall experience it physically and materially.

×May your hand multiply whatever you touch in Jesus' name. Amen!

II. BECAUSE YOUR PRAYERS SHALL BE ANSWERED ( V6-7)
