Jesus was on His way to the ruler's house to raise his daughter,when the woman with the issue of blood got her healing... *It wasnt Jesus' intention to heal the woman..You may be praying for people but remember that on His way to heal them you will receive yours.Praying for self brings personal healing but praying for people brings multiple healing*.

ONCE AGAIN WE THANK YOU FOR THE GIFT OF LIFE IN THIS NEW WEEK.WE ARE SINNERS ,LORD HAVE MERCY ON US, THE WEEKEND IS OVER AND MOST OF US ARE RESUMING WITH OUR WEEKLY PROGRAMS. WE NEED YOU FATHER TO GUIDE US ALWAYS, GUIDE US ON OUR JOBS, AT SCHOOL , AT HOME , ON THE WAY. MAKE THIS WEEK A BLESSING TO US, FULFILL OUR DESIRES ,MAKE US STRONG TO FIGHT TEMPTATIONS,
GIVE US A LOVING HEART TO CARE ABOUT OTHERS...BLESS US FOR EVER IN JESUS NAME WE PRAY AMEN.

PASTOR DISGUISES HIMSELF AS A DESTITUTE.
Pastor Jeremiah Steepek transformed himself into a homeless person and went to the 10,000- member church that he was to be introduced as the head pastor that morning. He walked around the church for 30 minutes while it was filling with people for service in which only 3 people out of the about 10,000 people said hello to him. He asked people for change to buy food – no one in the church gave him change.He went into the sanctuary to sit down in the front of the church and was asked by the ushers if he would please sit in the back. He greeted people only to be greeted back with stares and dirty looks, with people looking down on him and judging him. As he sat in the back of the church, he listened to the church announcements and such.When all that was done, the elders went up and were excited to introduce the new pastor of the church to the congregation. “We would like to introduce to you Pastor Jeremiah Steepek.” The congregation looked around clapping with joy and anticipation. The homeless man sitting in the back stood up and started walking down the aisle. The clapping stopped with all eyes on him. He walked up the altar and took the microphone from the elders (who were in on this) and paused for a moment then he recited: “Then the King will say to those on his right,‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him: ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’‘The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ After he recited this, he looked towards the congregation and told them all what he had experienced that morning. Many began to cry and many heads were bowed in shame. He then said, “Today I see a gathering of people, not a church of Jesus Christ. The world has enough people, but not enough disciples. When will YOU decide to become disciples?”

This is an absolutely incredible short interview with *Rick Warren,*
*'Purpose Driven Life'* author and
Pastor of *Saddleback Church in California.*

--In the interview by *Paul Bradshaw* with *Rick Warren,*

Rick said:
*--People ask me, What is the purpose of life?*

*--And I respond:*
In a nutshell, life is preparation for eternity. We were not made to last forever, and God wants us to be with Him in Heaven.

--One day my heart is going to stop, and that will be the *end of my body*-- but not the *end of me.*

--I may live *60 to 100 years on earth*, but I am going to spend *trillions of years in eternity.*
This is the warm-up act --the dress rehearsal. God wants us to practice on earth what we will do forever in eternity..

--We were made by *God and for God*, and until you figure that out, life isn't going to *make sense.*

--Life is a series of problems:
*Either you are in one now,* OR *you're just coming out of one,* OR *you're getting ready to go into another one.*

--The reason for this is that *God is more interested* in *your character* than *your comfort;* God is more interested in making *your life holy* than He is in making *your life happy.*

--We can be *reasonably happy* here on earth, but that's not *the goal of life.* The goal is to grow in *character, in Christ likeness.*

--No matter how *good* things are in your life, there is always something *bad* that *needs to be worked on.*

--And no matter how *bad* things are in your life, there is always something *good* you can *thank God* for.

--You can focus on *your purposes*, or you can focus on *your problems:*

--If you focus on your problems, you're going into *self-centeredness*, which is my problem, my issues, my pain. *But one of the easiest ways to get rid of pain is to get your focus off yourself and onto God and others.*

--Actually, sometimes learning to deal with the good is harder.
For instance, this past year, all of a sudden, when the book sold 15 million copies, it made me instantly very wealthy.

--It also brought a lot of *notoriety* that I had never had to deal with before.
I don't think God gives you *money* or *notoriety* for your own ego or for you to live a life of ease.

--So I began to ask God what He wanted me to do with this money, notoriety and influence.
He gave me two different passages that helped me decide what to do, *II Corinthians 9* and *Psalm 72.*

--First, in spite of all the money coming in, we would not change our lifestyle one bit.. We made no major purchases.

--Second, about midway through last year, I stopped taking a salary from the church.

--Third, we set up foundations to fund an initiative we call *The Peace Plan* to plant churches, equip leaders, assist the poor, care for the sick, and educate the next generation.

--Fourth, I added up all that the church had paid me in the 24 years since I started the church, and I gave it all back. It was liberating to be able to serve God for free.

--We need to ask ourselves: Am I going to live for possessions? Popularity?

--Am I going to be driven by pressures? Guilt? Bitterness? Materialism? Or am I going to be driven by God's purposes (for my life)?

--When I get up in the morning, I sit on the side of my bed and say, God, if I don't get anything else done today, *I want to know You more and love You better.*

God didn't put me on earth just to fulfill *a to-do list.* He's more interested in *what I am* than *what I do.*

--That's why we're called *human beings*, not *human doings.*

--Happy moments, *PRAISE GOD.*
--Difficult moments, *SEEK GOD.*
--Quiet moments, *WORSHIP GOD.*
--Painful moments, *TRUST GOD.*
--Every moment, *THANK GOD.*

Title: BE A GIVER

Luke 6:38
Give and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.

A lot of Christians today, who have known the Lord for many years, are facing spiritual stagnation. They have been Christians for so long, yet know the Bible very well. They go to church every week. But they do not see the blessing of God in their lives. What is wrong? This is what is wrong: They need an outlet for their inlet. If you don’t have an outlet for what you are taking in, then you will stagnate. The blessing of God was not designed to be hoarded, but to be shared. And the more you give out, the more God gives back to you.

Jesus, said, “Give and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” Proverbs 11:25 says, “The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself.” The Bible is saying that if you want a soul that is full, if you want a life that is rich, then give out.

It’s a radical thought. And it flies in the face of what we hear today, especially in our materialistic and selfish culture in which we are all trying to amass as much as we can for ourselves. But in God’s Kingdom, if you want to live, you must die. If you want to lead, you must be a servant. If you want to be exalted, you must be humble. If you want to receive, you must give. This means we must stop focusing on ourselves and start thinking about the needs of others. Then we will find what we have been looking for all along – not by craving for it, but as the by-product of a life that is properly aligned with God.

Lord, give me grace to be a generous giver.
