George McLaurin, the first black man admitted to the University of Oklahoma in 1948, was forced to sit in a corner far from his white classmates.

But his name remains on the honor roll as one of the three best students of the university. These are his words: "Some colleagues would look at me like I was an animal, no one would give me a word, the teachers seemed like they were not even there for me, nor did they always take my questions when I asked. But I devoted myself so much that afterwards, they began to look for me to give them explanations and to clear their questions."

Lesson: Forcing yourself to be accepted by people is a waste of time. Just focus and add value to yourself and people shall come seeking your help...👍🏽

As the last day in 2020 and is gradually going to end tonight, I pray Thee; Oh Lord God of host, please take away every seed of sorrow, pain, afflictions, pestilence, poverty, hatred, backwardness, stagnation, pandemic, chronics, feebleness and everything meant to destroy us in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Father, please clad us with your anointing, mercy, unfailing love, kindness, good health, favour, riches, prosperity, fear of God, humility, truthfulness, gentleness, loyalty, integrity and the sense of nation building, through your son and our saviour Jesus Christ, Amen.

Jesus Christ was given to us to save us from our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. As we celebrate His birth, let us bear in mind to stay away from filthy things.
Let us do away with bad eating and drinking habit so as to keep our bodies clean and pure for His use and for our own good health.
