Why is it that some mention the name Jesus and great things take place. Some also do mention the same name and nothing happens.

But, this is the promise; Luke 10:19 KJVS
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Many of us are not experiencing the above scripture in our lives because there is nothing in us that resembles Christ.

Remember the two sons of Sceva, Acts 19:15 KJVS
And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?

The evil spirit saw in Paul, Christ likeness.

We can stand fast and resist the devil when our lives resembles Christ.

Christ likeness is what we were called into.

Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently

Since salvation happens to our spirits, is the responsibility of the Christian to purify the soul and the body. And the purification of the soul and the body is done by continues studying the word of God and fellowshiping with the Father.

This is done with love❤️🌹

Sometime we think we love but that's Philo. Peter wasn't born again to have the true nature of God's love [Agape] in him that's why he denied Jesus.

We can never show the God kind of love unless, we allowed him into our lives. The true nature of God is love.

When we allow love to lead us, love will always win in every aspect of live.
