✨ THE LORD SHALL FIGHT FOR YOU ✨

There are battles you were never meant to fight with your own strength.
There are doors you cannot force open, hearts you cannot change, and mountains you cannot move.
But the good news is this: you are not alone.

When the pressure rises, when people fail you, when the situation looks impossible —
God steps in.

He goes ahead of you.
He silences every storm.
He handles what your hands cannot.
He speaks where your voice has no reach.
He defends you in places you have never been.

You may be tired, but God is not.
You may be confused, but God is not.
You may feel surrounded, but God is surrounding you even more.

Stand still.
Keep your peace.
Your miracle is already in motion.

Nugget: Called into fellowship

I am the vine, you are the branches. The one who abides in me while I abide in him produces much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5 ISV

This is one of my favourite scriptures which became a blessing to me some few years ago. I kept reading this very chapter and it kept blessing me and blessing me and I am still being blessed by it. As Christians our primary source of blessings is the Word and nothing else unfortunately we neglect it in search of another blessing which is not even a blessing.

After carefully reading through this very piece of scripture, one thing becomes obvious when it comes to what it seeks to communicate. This nothing apart from "fellowship" with Jesus Christ which most of us have ignored or do not pay much attention to. We abiding in Christ and vice versa implies Christ wants to fellowship with us. When this happens, we become more like him and less like our old self which does not bring God the glory. This is because in fellowship, the parties often share what they have.

Faithful is the God by whom you were called into fellowship with his Son Jesus the Messiah, our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:9 ISV

Therefore in our fellowship with Jesus, he takes our weakness and gives us his strength to make us overcomers in all the challenges we face. In a similar vein, his strength makes us fruitful as Christians which is why we need to maintain a healthy fellowship with the Lord. We were never called to be independent of God but to remain connected to him always. Therefore make time for him and not the things that do not build up.
