PRAMPRAM TRADITIONAL COUNCIL, LOCAL COUNCIL OF CHURCHES AND GPCC HOLD HOWOMO THANKSGIVING SERVICE
The PramPram Traditional Council, in collaboration with the Local Council of Churches and the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC), of which The Church of Pentecost is a member, has organised a special Howomo Thanksgiving Service to give thanks to God Almighty for His faithfulness, protection, guidance and blessings upon the people of PramPram Township.
The colourful thanksgiving service brought together the Paramount Chief of PramPram, Nene Tetteh Wakah III, his elders, members of the Traditional Council, church leaders, pastors and Christians from various denominations across the township.
The occasion was chaired by Nene Tetteh Wakah III, who was accompanied by his elders. The service provided an opportunity for the Traditional Council and the Christian community to come together in unity and gratitude to God for His goodness and mercies towards PramPram.
The atmosphere was filled with joyful praises, worship, singing and dancing as the congregation lifted their voices to honour and glorify the Lord. The Paramount Chief and his elders also joined the Christian community in praising God through singing and dancing, expressing their appreciation for God's faithfulness and goodness.
The gathering demonstrated the importance of unity, peace and collaboration between the Traditional Council and the Christian community in promoting the spiritual, social and developmental wellbeing of PramPram Township.
In his remarks, the Paramount Chief expressed his gratitude to God for His continued protection, guidance and blessings upon the people of PramPram. He also commended the various churches, the Local Council of Churches and the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council for their commitment to bringing the Christian community together to seek the face of God and give Him thanks.
The service also featured prayers for the continued peace, unity, progress and development of PramPram Township. Special prayers were offered for God's wisdom, strength and grace upon the Traditional Council, church leaders, families, the youth and the entire community.
The thanksgiving service served as a powerful reminder of the words of Scripture in 1 Samuel 7:12: “Thus far the Lord has helped us.” Indeed, the people of PramPram acknowledged that it is by the grace, mercy and faithfulness of God that the township has come this far.
As the programme came to a close, the organisers expressed the hope and prayer that, by the grace of God, the people of PramPram would gather again next year to celebrate another year of God's faithfulness with even greater joy, unity and thanksgiving.
