Message title: OPEN THE WORD ( As Ammonium polyphosphate)

He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.

Ammonium polyphosphate is used as a flame retardant by the firefighters to quench flames. How do firefighters quench flame or fire by the extinguishers? By opening the regulator of the extinguishing container and pointing it to the flame or fire.

Your body is a carrier or container of God's extinguisher here on this planet and your mouth is the regulator and God expects you to open your mouth to release the retardent. The power which is of God, leaves inside of you. Open it up to put off all unwanted informations from you.

God's word is power in you. Put it on, Open it upon anything happening thats not God's plan and purpose. Jesus got up and release words of the word of God over the storm to reform it to calmness. You have that same power in you the day you became born again. Release it to have God kind of results you want.

The news all over the world now is bringing us fire of fear. The media is now communicating fear and worry, do you know what to do? Just open the extinguisher of God's word. That's all you need. Just open it as Ammonium polyphosphate mixed with water pointing to a fire.

Overcome Fear

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1
What is fear? Fear is an information that’s contrary to the word of God. An information that brings unhealthy emotional feelings to the human body (worry, fright).

It’s never Gods original plan for his sons and daughters to be afraid of things happening around them, because He is the source of our strength through the Holy Spirit that God gave through his son Jesus Christ. 2 Timothy 1:7 says “ For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

We have the Holy Spirit that gives us power to overcome fear that generates in our sphere of contacts. The word of God has been given to us to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked around us. Don’t let fear rub you of your joy, peace and freedom that you have in Christ in this world. Refuse to fear, for nothing from this world can have negative effect on you as long as you are the child of God, Study the word of God so that fear from nowhere will have its place in you.

After the death of Moses, the servant of the Lord, the Lord called Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ aide, in order that he conducts, and he brings God's people (Israel) in the promise Land.

Firstly, God gave Joshua the promises that'll follow him, Joshua 1:1-5.
Secondly, God, knowing that the responsibility was enormous, came and told him:
Be strong and courageous, Joshua 1:6-7.
Lastly, God gave him trumps and precepts: Joshua 1:7-8.

And every time Joshua walked in these precepts, he always had the victory. My beloved, no matter the circumstances of life, be sure you're in God's word. Because if you are within God's word and you hang on that, God will fight for you and will honor you.

1 Samuel 2:30
Those who honor me I will honor, but those who despise me will be disdained.

In our troubles, there are two things that we must consider: The prayer and our tongue.

The prayer:

The Bible says;
James:5
13 Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray.

Psalms:107
28 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress.

We see the effects of prayer with the apostles when they were in the troubles.

Acts:4
29 Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness.
30 Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.
”31 After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.

Our tongue:
Often, when we see that things are going bad, we profer negative words that impede the action of the Spirit in our life. While the Bible tells us,

Proverbs:18
21 The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

1 Peter:3
10 For, “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech.

In our troubles, we should take example on Abraham when he went to sacrifice Isaac, he said to his servants, “Stay here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there.
We will worship and then we will come back to you. Genesis 22:5

Genesis:22
7 Isaac spoke up and said to his father Abraham, “Father?” “Yes, my son?” Abraham replied.
“The fire and wood are here,” Isaac said, “but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?” 8 Abraham answered, “God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.

In our difficult times, we should have positive words and words of faith. Psalms 23; 27; 37:25; 2 Corinthians 4:6; Isaiah 60;

Job:19
25 I know that my redeemer[c] lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth.

I know that my God is alive and that his promises will be fulfilled in my life. Because there is hope for all those who live. I am a Child of God; I will live his wonders.

YOUR HARVEST IS IN YOUR MOUTH
For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17).
Some people wonder why things aren’t working out right in their finances in spite of the fact that they pay their tithes and give their offerings. Jesus said in Luke 6:38 “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom….” This already indicates that when you give, there’s an increase of grace for you to receive. So when you pay your tithes, give your offerings, or sow special seeds, you’re actually opening up your capacity to receive.
However, you have to water the seeds you’ve sown with the Word of God and prayer and then call forth your harvest with your faith-filled confessions. So in sowing your seeds, send them forth by the anointing, by speaking the Word over them, and begin to call forth your harvest. You can call forth your harvest anytime, for harvest is anytime: “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease” (Genesis 8:22).

QUIT DEPENDING ON PEOPLE FOR YOUR HAPPINESS

Seek your happiness in the Lord, and he will give you your heart's desire. Give yourself to the Lord; trust in him, and he will help you;
Psalm 37:4-5

Who are you depending on for your source of joy? Who are you depending on for the source of your happiness? Is your trust in someone to support you? Is your trust in someone for a better life?

The Bible says in Psalm 37:4-5. "Seek your happiness in the Lord" and He (God) will give you your heart desires. How can you seek happiness from the lord? By having fellowship with Him everyday of your life. Building a friendship with the Lord everyday makes you one with Him at all times and His always available to reach out to you in all things your heart desires .

Man is full of personal issues to attend to your needs and happiness. The day you start looking for joy and happiness from the flesh, that's the beginning of your disappointments from the flesh. The flesh source of Happiness is from his Creator not the creature. The creature is created to have it's living from the Creator. Happiness from man is for but a short while but our God's joy and happiness is but for eternal. Unending source of happiness comes from our God and lord Jesus Christ.

Let you mind be on this things that, joy and happiness comes from no one but God. Quit trusting in men for your joy and happiness because it's never permanent.

Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save.

It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans.
It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes.

The Reactions of the Word
[ Indeed, the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing until it divides soul from spirit, joints from marrow; it is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. ]
Hebrews 4:12
Surely the word of God is living and active, more sharper than two mouth swords. The word can pierce, get deep down into us.
John 1:1 "In the beginning the Word already existed, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." We have come to know in the epistle of John that, the written words are God himself and as we get to study the word, we are sure that, the word is God in written.
When we study God through his words, God relates with us in the supernatural. This what happens. When you study His word, God is a Spirit and he can't relate with us in the flesh (John 4:24). God relates himself with us through the Holy spirit as we study his word.
Get to know God more through studying the word, and as you do, the Holy Spirit makes the word which is God himself to be living and active, sharper than any two - edged sword, piercing until it divides soul from spirit, joints from marrow; and the word will judge your thoughts and the intentions of your heart.
Reality Moment
The word of God becomes a living being which is the Holy Spirit any time you feed yourself with the word, and the Holy Spirit becomes alive in you to shape you and also touches every part of your life and makes you the God kind always.

*"THINKING"*

Your life portray your way of thinking. The bible said in Proverbs 23:7.

For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he...
Prov 23:7

Do you know that your results of today, is the results of your thoughts you had some years back? Stop thinking negatively before negative results starts showing up in your life. Start thinking positively and you will see positive results in you life.

But someone will ask: What should I do when things aren't working out for me the way it ought? Start speaking, talking what you want to see and have. The tongue is another powerful tool over your mind and proverbs 18:21 gives us a clearer picture about that.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.
Proverbs 18:21

If your mind can't think of thinking about something great and new happening to you, you mouth can.
Stop killing your great future with your tongue. Avoid using words like "Its hard in this nation" "There's no money in this nation" "Am afraid" "I can't be it and I can't do it" The more you talk them out, the more they become part of your life because you shall have what you say. Beautify your future with positive thoughts and words.
