“OVERCOMING UNBELIEF”

SCRIPTURE READINGS: Mark 9:16-27; James 5:17

EXPOSITION:
Entertaining a false idea is as disastrous as a tsunami. Our mind is the battlefield where all human struggles take place. The human mind is where the enemy influences most, to inject false imaginations or accusations that always deprive man of his freedom. The only thing that God requires of His children is to recognize that He is and He rewards them that seek Him diligently. Believe that the Lord Jesus Christ has deposited in you tons of power to exercise.

The Lord requires total faith and effort from you. Faith and effort are inseparable; one is dependent on the other. If you have faith in Him, believe that all that you desire in your heart shall be given you. Do not grieve over job, admission, visa, financial or other disappointments that come your way. They may all be for your own good as stated in Romans 8:28. Do not despair in believing in the power of God that is at work in you. You can exercise this God-giving power.

Now, you have come to know the One whom you have believed and that should provide enough evidence that you have been anointed to do great exploits for God. It took a long time for the foundational apostles to be convinced about the Lord they were walking with. It takes your belief in Him to humble anything that exalts itself. Therefore, build your faith in Christ and run with perseverance the race marked out for you.

PRAYER:
King Eternal, immortal God, I thank you for making me overcome the spirit of unbelief. Strengthen me continuously in your kingdom business. Amen.
