“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
2 Corinthians 3:18, NKJV

One of the most amazing transformations in the Bible happened when Saul—former persecutor of Christians—encountered God on the road to Damascus (see Acts 9). After his encounter, he was so radically changed from the inside out that even his name was changed to Paul. He began preaching the gospel, and eventually, went on to write much of the New Testament. When you have a supernatural encounter with Almighty God, something is going to happen. Something is going to be transformed inside of you and radiate out into every part of your being, affecting every part of your life! Today, I want to encourage you to prepare your heart to expect God’s supernatural touch in your life. Open the eyes of your heart to Him. I pray that you experience God in such a way that every bo***ge is broken off of your life, and you are forever changed by a supernatural encounter with Him! Let your joy be full in the Lord. Remain blessed.

Elisha replied to her, “How can I help you? Tell me, what do you have in your house?””Your servant has nothing there at all, she said, “except a small jar of olive oil.”
2 Kings 4:2, NIV

The poor widow in 2 Kings 4 was desperate. Things were so bad that not only could she not pay her bills, but the creditors were coming to take her two sons as payment. When she said she had nothing at all, she was saying, “It’s too late. I’m done.” What good was the small jar of olive oil in the light of her huge debt? Yet when she obeyed Elisha’s word to get containers and pour a little oil in them, the miracle happened and the oil kept flowing. Don’t discount the small thing you have—small opportunities, small income, small gifts. It may seem too small, but God knows how to multiply. God doesn’t expect us to have great faith all the time, but He expects us to obey. When tough times come and you think it’s impossible, just say, “God, all I have is this little bit of oil, but I’m here to obey.” Then watch what God will do. Let your joy be full in the Lord. Remain blessed.

But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy.
Titus 3:4-5, NIV

Saul was persecuting the church when God appeared to him and changed him into the apostle Paul. God doesn’t give us what we deserve. We deserve the consequences of our actions; we deserve judgment, but God gives us mercy. He knows how to make miracles out of our mistakes. The accusing voices will tell you, “You’re done, and it’s your fault. You know you weren’t supposed to do it. It’s your mess.” No, God is so merciful that He’ll not only bring you out, He’ll clean up your mess. You may be in a mess of your own doing right now. God has mercy for that mistake. His mercy is not based on your performance. You are covered with mercy not just when you measure up but even when you blow it, even when you fail. He can make a miracle out of that mess. Get up every morning and thank God not only for His goodness, but thank Him for His mercy. Let your joy be full in the Lord. Remain blessed.

A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. Proverbs 17:22, ESV

Everyone deals with stress and challenges, but don’t let that deceive you into going through life solemn and grumpy. All work and no play are out of balance. You have to give yourself permission to enjoy your life. You have serious responsibilities, but you can still have a joyful heart. Start taking your medicine every single day. One of the greatest stress relievers God has given us is laughter. Laughing makes us feel better and releases healing throughout our systems. When was the last time you had a good hearty laugh? If it’s been awhile, maybe your laugher is rusted and needs to be overhauled! You don’t know how much better you would feel and the energy you’d pick up if you’d just learn to laugh more often. Developing a sense of humor and looking for opportunities to laugh can make a big difference in the quality of your life. Find something funny that makes you laugh out loud every day. Let your joy be full in the Lord. Remain blessed.

Now thanks be to God for His indescribable gift [which is precious beyond words]!
2 Corinthians 9:15 AMP

When the apostle Paul was writing to the Corinthians about the joy and blessing of giving, he got so overwhelmed at the thought of all that God has given us in His Son, Jesus, that instead of trying to put it all in words, he just ended with, “Now thanks be to God for His indescribable gift [which is precious beyond words]! “Jesus is God’s perfect, indescribable gift, the most wonderful gift that has ever been given—“God loved us so much that He gave His Son, Jesus, so that we can have eternal life.” Jesus, the babe in the manger. Jesus, the Savior of the world, who brought the promise of unconditional love, unending hope, and eternal life to every person who believes in Him. And the amazing thing is that not only are we able to receive this gift into our hearts, we are able to share Him with others every day of the year! This is what Christianity is all about. Let your joy be full in the Lord. Remain blessed.

Further, David was greatly distressed because the people spoke of stoning him...But David felt strengthened and encouraged in the LORD his God.”
1 Samuel 30:6, AMP

It’s good to have friends and family around to cheer you up when you’re down, but in order to truly live in victory, that encouragement has to come from the inside. When your mind is telling you it’s not worth it, when your circumstances seem difficult, deep down inside, your spirit has to have the resolve that says, “I refuse to settle where I am.” That’s what David had to do. He was facing a major setback. His family was captured, his city was destroyed, and his own people were now against him, but he still managed to encourage himself in the Lord. How did he do that? He replayed in his mind the victories from the past. He recounted God’s faithfulness. As he rehearsed over and over the goodness of God, strength began to rise in his heart. There are so many places you can see the hand of God at work. Thank Him for saving you today. Thank Him for the miracle of life. Thank Him for His faithfulness. Focus on the fact that God didn’t bring you this far to leave you now. Stir up that inner strength and encouragement. As you do, you’ll rise higher and higher and live the life of victory the Lord has prepared for you. Let your joy be full in the Lord. Remain blessed.

“Your house and your kingdom will endure forever before me; your throne will be established forever.” 2 Samuel 7:16, NIV

Do you ever wonder how faithful God is to keep His promises to you? In today’s Scripture, God promised David that one of his descendants would always be on the throne of Israel. Over three hundred years later, one of David’s relatives, King Hezekiah, and his throne were in great danger. An overwhelming army had surrounded Jerusalem, and there was no way out. But at the last minute, God sent an angel who destroyed 185,000 enemy troops, and the people were saved. God explained to Hezekiah why He did it. He said, “David’s been in the grave for three hundred years, but I made that promise to him about his throne. I always keep My promises.” Maybe you’re standing on a promise and it hasn’t come to pass yet. Don’t worry. If God will go to such great lengths to keep His promises to a man who’s dead, how much more will He keep His promise to you. Stay in faith, keep reminding Him what He promised, and keep thanking Him that it’s on the way. You’re about to see God show out in your life. Let your joy be full in the Lord. Remain blessed.
