*For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.*

In our anchor verse today, Paul expresses his unwavering confidence in the Gospel, stating that he is not ashamed of it. This powerful message of God's love and salvation is available to everyone who believes. It transcends cultural and ethnic boundaries, reaching both Jews and Gentiles. The Gospel is not limited by our background or past mistakes. It has the power to transform lives and bring hope to all who embrace it.

The Gospel is the power of God at work, bringing salvation to those who put their faith in Jesus Christ. It is through the Gospel that we experience forgiveness, redemption, and new life. The Gospel is the ultimate demonstration of God's love and mercy towards humanity. It is a message of hope that brings light into the darkest corners of our lives.

As believers, let's embrace the gospel with confidence and share it with others. Let's not be ashamed of the message that has the power to transform lives. Just as Paul boldly proclaimed the Gospel, let us also live unashamedly, knowing that it carries the power of God's salvation. Let's extend mercy and forgiveness to others, just as God has shown mercy to us.

May the Gospel be the driving force in our lives, guiding our actions and attitudes, and bringing hope to those around us.

DO YOU KNOW YOUR PLACE?

Basic Scripture:

Habakkuk‬ ‭2:1‬ ‭EASY‬‬

I will stand at my place on the wall of the city. I will watch from there. I will wait to see what God will say to me. I have complained to him and now I will see how he answers me.

Knowing your relevance in a particular institution, family, workplace and even among your relationships with men is very important. It gives you a sense of belonging and raises your self esteem. Because with that in mind you know why, what and how to manage and change any situation you are faced with.

Now, that's the same way we ought to know our place and position on the wall. Beloved, can you boldly hit your chest and say, "I know what I must do for God", " I know where He has called me to", " I understand the demands of this calling" and "I'm willing to sacrifice and do everything to accomplish the task".

Today, Habakkuk makes a profound statement that piecers our heart, I will stand at my place on the wall of the city". He knew his calling so well, that he knew what to do when trouble arose. Child of God, can we boast of the same knowledge?

I pray that the Revealer of all truth will show us our place and position in the Kingdom, and may He continue to release the grace we need to excell in it, in Jesus Name Amen.

TRUST GOD'S MASTER PLAN

*Basic Scripture:*

*Romans 8:14*

*For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.*

Glory to God for a new week. We are glad to receive light and life from His Word.

We are told in our opening Scripture that, being led by the Spirit is what truly identifies us God's children. This is very expedient because, Job declares;
"But it is the spirit in a man, the breath of the Almighty, that gives him understanding."

Elihu is telling us in the book of Job through the inspiration of God that it is the Spirit of God inside a man that makes him wise unto the purposes of God.

It is in heeding to the Spirit and following the Spirit's leading that we get to fulfill all that the Father has for us. He communicates His Word to our spirits, that's the channel. Let us trust the Word of God to bring us to the place of purpose, the place of prominence.

So beloved, don't overlook that prompting in your spirit, neither the the urge to act on the Word of God. Don't despise that instinct. Don't ignore that strong nudge in your spirit.

Instead, submerge yourself to the leading of the Spirit. Tune your mind and spirit to obey God's Word promptly. I assure you, a life led by the Spirit guarantees peace and fulfillment. Hallelujah!!

SEARCH MY HEART

Basic Scripture:


Psalms 139:23-24

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Do we usually ask God to come through for us only when we are in need of something or do we acknowledge our shortcomings in serving Him and ask Him to take the lead in our lives?

The Psalmist prays a very sincere prayer where he asked our Heavenly Father to come through for him in his shortcomings. Are you honest with God when you pray? Lots of people struggle with being completely honest with Him. Instead, they pick and choose the things they pray about. They hide certain sins and confess others that aren't as embarrassing.

Scripture says that, we don't need to clean up our life before we come to God. God is the one who created us, and He knows everything about us. So there is nothing that we can hide from Him. He already knows the innermost parts of our thoughts and desires.

We cannot heal from the things we try to hide. In order to experience the grace and mercy of God, we must bring everything to Him. When He searches us and brings things to mind, He's inviting us to humbly confess them to Him.

Take a moment today to make Psalm 139 your prayer. Ask God to search your heart and see if there is anything hiding that you're unaware of. When He brings something up, take it to Him and ask for forgiveness.

BENEFITS OF AWARENESS OF YOUR SONSHIP STATUS

Basic Scripture:

Romans 8:15(NKJV)

”For you did not receive the spirit of bo***ge again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”

We bless God for His mercies and grace upon our lives. Our message today is one that will significantly enlighten you. So we realize that in the era of the Old Testament, God was usually referred to as The God of Abraham, The God of Isaac, The God of Jacob among many others.

No where in the Old Testament will you find God being referred to as a Father. However, from today’s key text we get to see that we have been given the right to address God as Father. No wonder when the disciples asked Jesus a question as to how they should pray, He addressed God as “Our Father” and not God of Abraham or God of Isaac.

Now, if God has been made our Father it means we are automatically His sons. Beloved, this comes with an added advantage. This is because, sons have a wide range of access to their fathers. Let me elaborate further. For instance, if you want to speak with an honourable Man of God such as Pastor Mensah Otabil, you may need to book or schedule a meeting with him.

However, I don’t think the son or daughter of Pastor Mensah Otabil will need to go through that long process. Why, simply because he’s their father. That is the same way that being aware of your sonship status with God gives you protocol. It gives you easy access to the throne room. You don’t have to queue for certain things. Some of us are not enjoying these benefits because we aren’t aware.

Although some of us are aware, we haven’t consciously and intentionally accepted tat fact. Remember, the Bible says that as a man thinks so is he. Beloved it is my sincere prayer that you’ll learn to relate to God as His son and see Him as a Father so you’ll be able to enjoy the advantage that comes along with it in the name of Jesus, Amen. ENGAGE IN MORE THAN JUST PRAYING

Basic Scripture:

Mark 13:33(NKJV)

”Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is.“

We are thankful to our Father in Heaven for making it possible for us to witness the first Monday of this Month. He alone is worthy of all our praise and thanksgiving. I believe the essence of prayer in the life of a Christian cannot be overemphasized. It’s interesting to know that, whenever prayer is addressed, it’s accompanied with fasting and reading of the Word.

Those two accompaniments are very important. However, in today’s message, we will take a look at another very essential element which can go alongside prayer. According to our key text today, we are urged to watch and pray. Take note that Jesus didn’t urge us to pray only. He said watch and pray.

It’s quite unfortunate that a lot of believers pay attention to the praying aspect while neglecting the watching aspect. What does it mean to ‘watch’. To watch means to look at or observe attentively over a period of time. Having understood what it means to watch, let’s take a look at what Jesus said once more.

He said, "watch and pray". Beloved what this means is that we shouldn’t just pray. Before we pray we must take time to observe the occurrences around us, study patterns, observe times and seasons with regards to your life. Don’t just pray because you’ve been told in the Bible to pray. Watch also! Watching will streamline your prayers and will prevent you from praying amiss.

Dear ones, it’s about time we start paying much attention to watching. Let’s pay close attention to all occurrence around us. Let’s look at it from a spiritual and physical perspective before we launch into prayer. As we do this, I believe our prayers will be more efficient. I won’t be surprised that the Scripture which says that the effective fervent prayer of the righteous avails much was in relation to watching. May God grant us the grace to become effective watchers in the faith in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
