REGLO DAILY’S

And the people served the LORD all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great works of the LORD, that he did for Israel.

Joshua 2:7

INSPIRATION

Joshua witnessed many mighty acts of the Lord as God led the Israelites through the desert with Moses. The people of Israel served the Lord while Joshua was alive and while others who had seen God's works were alive. It is much easier to have faith when you witness things first or second hand. It's harder when you believe without seeing. Jesus said that those who believe without seeing are blessed. Let's have faith in our great God even though we have not seen.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, You are great. Your character has never changed. You were the same yesterday and You will be the same tomorrow. I can always count on You. I have not seen Your face, but I have read of Your works throughout history. Make my faith stronger, and help me to believe. Have faith for me when I lack faith. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.

Psalm 105:4

INSPIRATION

Jesus said that the first and greatest commandment is to love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Even before Jesus said that, we see in the Psalms encouragement to seek the Lord. God is always there just waiting for you to come to Him. He stands with open arms. Seek Him. He is strong and capable. He is beautiful and true. Seek Him every day for all of your days.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, Your name is holy, and You will reign forever. Let Your will be done in my life. You care for me and are always there for me. Thank You for sending Your son so that I can come into Your presence. I want to seek You for all of my days. I want to know You, and I want to love You more than I do now. Don't let me grow complacent in my relationship with You. Always let me seek Your face. You will never leave or forsake me, never allow me to leave You. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

PROVERBS 3:25-26

INSPIRATION

When we see wicked people entering troubling times we should not fear – and neither should we gloat. We should simply take comfort in God, knowing that all will be well and that the fate of the wicked is not the fate we, God's children, will face.

PRAYER

Dear God, I thank you that I can have total comfort in you. Lord, in times where the wicked are experiencing storms and trouble, may my heart be still. I know that the fate of the wicked is not a fate I will face. I also pray that in these times, may they be compelled to repent of their wicked ways. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
