Sermon: Living a Dedicated Life for God

Introduction

Living a dedicated life for God is a powerful and transformative journey. It requires commitment, faith, and an unwavering focus on His purpose for our lives. In a world filled with distractions, dedicating our lives to God means prioritizing our relationship with Him above all else.

Scripture References

1. Romans 12:1-2 (NIV)
“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

2. Colossians 3:23-24 (NIV)
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”

3. Matthew 6:33 (NIV)
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

4. Philippians 3:13-14 (NIV)
“Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

Key Points

1. Surrender and Sacrifice
Living a dedicated life means surrendering our will to God. Romans 12:1 urges us to be living sacrifices. This involves letting go of our desires and ambitions to follow His plan for our lives.

2. Seeking God’s Kingdom
Matthew 6:33 reminds us to seek God first. When we prioritize our relationship with Him, everything else falls into place. A dedicated life seeks to honor God in every action, decision, and relationship.

3. Working Heartily for the Lord
In our daily tasks, we should do everything as if we are serving God directly (Colossians 3:23-24). This perspective transforms mundane activities into acts of worship.

4. Pressing Toward the Goal
Like Paul in Philippians 3:13-14, we must focus on the future and the calling God has placed on our lives. Dedication means resilience and a commitment to moving forward despite challenges.

Application

Daily Devotion: Set aside time each day for prayer and Bible study to strengthen your relationship with God.

Service to Others: Look for opportunities to serve in your community, using your gifts to help those in need.

Accountability: Surround yourself with fellow believers who encourage you in your walk with Christ.

Prayer Points

1. Commitment to God:
“Lord, I dedicate my life to You. Help me to surrender my will and desires and align my life with Your purpose.”

2. Strength to Seek Him First:
“Father, give me the strength to seek You above all else. Help me to prioritize my relationship with You every day.”

3. Heart of Service:
“Holy Spirit, fill my heart with compassion and a desire to serve others. Show me where I can be a blessing in my community.”

4. Perseverance in Trials:
“God, when I face challenges, remind me to press on toward the goal You have set for me. Grant me the perseverance to continue my journey of faith.”

5. Renewal of Mind:
“Lord, renew my mind and transform my heart. Help me to see the world through Your eyes and to live according to Your will.”

Conclusion

Living a dedicated life for God is a continuous journey of faith, service, and transformation. As we commit ourselves to Him, we experience His love and guidance in profound ways. May we strive to be living sacrifices, seeking His kingdom and purpose in all we do. Let us pray for the strength and commitment to live lives that honor Him daily.

BLESSED WORD OF FAITH AND LIFE
GOOD BLESSED MORNING.

We know that all things work together for good to them that love God. - Romans 8:28

People often ask how there can be good in everything.

Here is the answer. “We know that to them that love God, all things will work together so as to bring good to us.
It may not seem that this or that particular experience can yield good. But God is able to combine this seemingly harmful thing with other things, and from the combination bring good. The selling of Joseph by his brothers was a black crime, and an observer would have said the evil never could be turned to good. Yet we know the sequel. “The Lord meant it for good.”A lady showed Bro. Prince J. a handkerchief on which some careless person had dropped a drop of ink. Bro. Prince J. took the handkerchief away and returned it in a few days with an India ink engraving on it, using the ugly blot as the basis of the design.
So God will take the blots in our lives and change them into beauty, if only we love Him and are faithful.
Remember You are still loved by your creator Jesus Christ.

BLESSED WORD OF FAITH AND LIFE
GOOD BLESSED MORNING.
Forward I go with Jesus
Do not look at the past live it behind you and look forward and go forward.

There should be a last encounter that will take you forward.
Move forward , go forward live that problem for Yahweh has already taken control of that situation.
Don't go back, don't look back forward you go.

25/10/2022

Be who you are.
1 CORINTHIANS 15:10 NIV 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am....
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
God is a brilliant Creator. He only makes originals -- not copies. According to Ephesians 2:10, you are God's work of art. God made you unique. So be all that God created you to be. Don't try to be someone else. Don't try to be an ear in the Body of Christ, if God made you a foot. Just be yourself. This does not mean that you cannot improve, or grow. Growth is part of God's plan. And we can certainly learn from others, and imitate excellent actions and attitudes. But too many people are insecure and hope to gain acceptance from others by conforming to what they think will make them popular or successful -- even though they hate it and know they are not being real.
ROMANS 12:2 PHILLIPS 2 Don't let the world around you squeeze you into its own mould....
Don't let the world pressure you into conforming. Express the originality that God put within you. God made you the way you are for a purpose -- His purpose. This is not to encourage rebellion, of course. But it is not God's plan for us all to be identical and do everything in the same way. I am not saying you have to try to be different. Just be who God made you -- without fear. Not everyone may like you, or what you do. But that is normal. You can't always please everyone. Make it your aim to please God by expressing what He made you.
ROMANS 12:2 NLT 2 Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is.
The Bible reveals many truths about who we are once we receive Jesus Christ. We actually receive new life, a new standing with God, and new ability. As you feed the Word of God into your thinking, that new life will be able to manifest more and more.

I am what I am by the grace of God. I will be what God made me and fulfill His plan for me.
