Have you ever met a guy who is always full of new ideas 💡💡 but has never accomplished 😞 anything in his life 🧬? Even if they start working on something they never finish? They are so excited about tomorrow that they forget to live today?.Such people always have UNFINISHED PROJECTS in their lives 🧬. The reason 🤔💬 why this happens is because the beginning of everything is exciting because you finally see 👀 physically what you have been dreaming ✨ about.The end is also exciting especially at the time ⏰ when you are putting finishing touches to your work.The problem however is the "messy middle".This is when you have begun and it's no longer a NEW idea and it doesn't look like you are going to finish anytime soon.When you go to a construction 🚧 site the beginning and the end looks good but there's a lot of digging in the middle which looks messy.This is when most people quit.So they have unfinished degrees, unfinished dreams ✨, books and even unfinished relationships 😔💔.It takes commitment to overcome the "messy middle". Practice what I call the TIDE 🌊 method.T.I.D.E is an acronym I coined meaning T- Touch; I-It ;D-Daily, E- Everyday.T.I.D.E stands for Touch It Daily, Everyday.Whatever project you want to finish,touch it daily, everyday.Make sure you do a little of it everyday.The Bible 📖 says "better the end of a matter than the beginning of it"(Eccle.7:8). Don't be the proverbial vulture who always says "I will build my house 🏡 tomorrow" and tomorrow never comes for him.Anything you start,commit to finishing and God 👑 🙏 will see you through.Have a lovely day 💝❤️💜. I read an interesting 🤔🧐 article on a BBC news platform recently about a Nigerian professor who is also a welder 🥽.Professor Kabir Abu Bilal teaches and supervises research students at the faculty of engineering at Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria's largest university.He chose to add welding 🥽 because it gives him a practical feel to his engineering knowledge and also adds extra income to his salary(he makes more money 💰🤑 from the welding 🥽 than his paycheck).Of course,many people taught 🤔 it was degrading for an academic to do such work and so advised him against it but he didn't listen 👂🎧 to them.How many people even with just first 🥇 degrees will be willing to start with a job that is considered menial by society? Successful People 😄 are the ones who are able to begin from anywhere despite societal opinions.Many great 👍 companies were started in garages.The Bible 📖 says "do not 🚫 despise little beginnings for it pleases 😊 the Lord 🙏👑 that the work should begin"(Zech.4:10). Every great 👍 endeavor starts small and may include doing something that may be trivial or degrading in the eyes 👀 of society but you have to despise the shame and do it anyway.Until you are able to forget about what people will say 🗣️ or think 🤔 of you 🧐, you are not 🚫 ready to do great 👍 things.People who are not 🚫 going anywhere will always talk 🦜 about people going somewhere.Start from somewhere,no matter how menial or small and watch God 👑👑 prosper the works of your hands ✋✋. Have you heard of or read the book 📖"Acres of Diamonds" 💎🔮by Russell H. Conwell?It tells the story of a farmer who heard that some people 🤯 had discovered gold 🪙 somewhere.He sold the farm and went in search 🔎 of the gold 🪙.He ended up squandering all his money 💰 and committed su***de by jumping 🦘 from a bridge 🌉 into a river because he couldn't find any gold 🥇🪙. Meanwhile, the man who bought the farm was passing by a small stream in the farm one day when he spotted something like a shiny stone 🪨.He brought the stone 🪨 and placed it in a place in his hall.A friend of his came to visit one day and was intrigued by the stone 🪨 so he advised that it should be tested by a geologist.The shiny stone 🪨 turned out to be a diamond 💎. The entire farm was sitting on acres of diamonds 💎💎. Many people don't understand that success comes from the inside 💠 out.Your gifts 🎁🧧 and talents are the "acres of diamonds". Your duty is to discover them and polish them to become of value 🪙 to you and other people.A lot of people admire the gift 🎁🧧 of others(the gold they can't have) instead of concentrating on their own gifts 🎁. The Bible 📖 says "the gift 🎁🧧 of a man,makes room for him.It shall bring him before kings👑👑" (Proverbs 18:16). Animals in a lot of situations work together to improve access to food 🥝🥑🍓🍑, shelter and protection from predators .This is known as Mutualism.So for example,sea anemones have stinging tentacles but a clownfish 🐠 🐟 is immune to them.The clown fish 🐠🐠🐟 hides in the sea ⛵ anemone protecting it from polyp-eating fish.It gets a safe sheltered home 🏠 and in return, the anemone receives vital nutrients from the waste of the clownfish 🐠🐠 and also keeps predators away.These type of partnerships are common in both the plant ☘️🌵 and animal 🪿🐦🐗kingdom.It is a bit more complicated in the human world 🌎🌍 because of TRUST issues.However, you can enter a partnership safely if you do the following (1) Create a formal legally binding agreement 🤝. Don't bring sentiments into business.(2)Make sure your visions align.Don't enter an agreement 🤝 with someone going somewhere different from where you are going.(3)Roles should be clearly defined.When everyone understands their role, you will compliment each other rather than bump into each other's roles.The book 📖 of Proverbs has a lot to say 🗣️ about partnerships and how it should be done(eg.Prov.6:1-5).If you must go into a partnership understand that a partnership can yield great 👍 mutual benefits but go into it with your eyes 👀 wide open 😺 so you don't have regrets in the end.Have a lovely day 💝❤️💜. I once bought taro leaves( kontomire)in the market from an elderly woman for vegetable stew.The leaves were nice and looked really healthy.Taro leaves are always wrapped 🫔 like a bouquet 💐. The market women 😉 wrap them in sheaths layer upon layer till you get to the middle ( they tie it with a twine). When I got home 🏠🏡 and untied the twine, I realized that only the first 🥇 two or three leaves were good 👍.The rest were rotten, yellowish and had huge holes in them.I couldn't see 🙈 it when I was buying because they had been covered with good ones.Many people are in the market for wrong reasons.They think 🤔 they are there to sell and make money 💰🤑. You don't buy from someone because you like them or want them to prosper.You buy from people because you want VALUE 🪙🥇 FOR YOUR MONEY 💰🤑. Every buyer is looking for VALUE 🪙, so the seller MUST always go to the market with the intention of delivering VALUE 🪙. If she was in the market for the right reasons,she wouldn't have taught only about the money 🤑 💰 she would lose if she threw away those leaves.This woman taught 🤔💬 she had outsmarted me.Not only did I not 🚫 buy from her again, I have warned friends and family about her.Not because I want to spoil her business but because I know my acquaintances also want VALUE for their money.If you are in the market selling(either a service 🐕‍🦺 or product), understand that the money 🤑🤑 is only bonus.With time ⏰, customers will come to know you for what they are looking for: VALUE.Jesus said "he amongst who wants to be great,let him SERVE(adding value to people's lives)-Matt.:20:26-28.Money follows VALUE,add VALUE to people's lives and see money 🤑💰 COMING AFTER YOU instead of you 🧐 chasing it.Have a lovely day 💝❤️💜. There's this organic gardening 🥝🥑 🍓🍑 technique which involves the placement of plants ☘️🌵 strategically to maximize benefits such as pest 🪳🦟 control 🛂, better 👍 pollination and good use of space.This technique is called companion planting.So for example, farmers 🧺🌽 can plant marigolds to repel aphids in their vegetable 🍆 🥒 gardens,use basil to protect tomatoes and adopt the 'three sisters' method of growing corn 🌽,beans 🫘🫛 and squash together.The beans 🫛🫘 will fix the nitrogen in the soil whilst the corn 🌽 becomes a pole for the beans 🫛🫘 to climb 🪜.Other companion planting pairings include lettuce 🥬 and sunflower 🌻,Roses 🌹 and Garlic 🧄, Peppers🫑🌶️ and Spinach.In each case both plants ☘️🌵 benefit from each other.My question ❓⁉️ to you this morning is...are all your friendships beneficial? Do you have people in your life 🧬 who are leeches but for what others will say 🗣️🔊 you can't let go?A Turkish proverb says "no road 🛣️ is long with good company". You need to define the purpose of the friendship.Does it align with where you are going?Are you being challenged to become better?Are you being held accountable for the things you said you will do?The Bible 📖 says "as iron 🧇 sharpens 🪒 iron 🧇, so one person sharpens 🪒 another"(Proverbs 27:17).As long as Lot hung around Abraham he couldn't go far(the name Lot actually means 'Veil').
