In my best of knowledge, No church in Ghana supports their musicians than the Adventist church. Most of the musicians we know today had their first album financially produced by church members. Because of poor marketing most of the producers run at a loss. Others even decided not take their investment back….

Most SDA musicians have funny ideas about generating money.
Some of them have written songs for people without taking a penny. Some think taking money for such things is a sin 😂

They failed to add the business side to their overloaded talent and great work.

Till date you may not find some of them on streaming platforms. No musicians has the right to blame church members for their inability to accumulate wealth out of their talents.

The Adventist church in Ghana unconsciously sensitised it members to consume only Adventist music. Growing up I never had the opportunity to listen any music aside Mark Anim, Young Missionaries, Great Ampong, Osei Boateng, King of Kings and other host of Adventist music because my Mum said they are the only song we should listen to.
I grew up not having interest in music of people who are not Adventist until after SHS. This is the case of most Adventist people. We buy your music, we promote it and make it lively to other people and yet you still feel we are wicked? Great Ampong should come out and distance himself from those comments by NOA

The Adventist church and members do not owe anyone including musicians any penny from their pockets until they earn it. How do you feel entitled to someone’s money?
