After two weeks of being out in the fields for soul winning, we gathered and were reminded of something crucial; it’s not just about the work, it’s about our walk with God.
We can be so engaged in ministry, demonstrating power and using our gifts, yet lose sight of what truly matters. Gifts are profitable, but they are not proof that our names are written in the Book of Life. Our first calling is not just to work for God, but to live for Him.
We were challenged not to become signboards pointing others to Jesus while missing the Kingdom ourselves. This is a call to stay grounded in our relationship with Him, to love God, love people, and walk in truth.
So how do we remain anchored in eternity? By believing in Jesus, setting our hearts on things above, and daily choosing to die to the flesh. It’s a conscious, intentional walk, reminding ourselves that this world is not our home.
We are not just living for the now, we are building treasures in heaven. Our focus is eternity.
