Colossians 3:1-3

[1]IF THEN you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, thus sharing His resurrection from the dead], aim at and seek the [rich, eternal treasures] that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
[2]And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth.
[3]For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God.

SCRIPTURE:
Colossians 1:12-14

[12]Giving thanks to the Father, Who has qualified and made us fit to share the portion which is the inheritance of the saints (God's holy people) in the Light.
[13][The Father] has delivered and drawn us to Himself out of the control and the dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
[14]In Whom we have our redemption through His blood, [which means] the forgiveness of our sins.

SCRIPTURE:
Joshua 14:7-11

[7]Forty years old was I when Moses the servant of the Lord sent me from Kadesh-barnea to scout out the land. And I brought him a report as it was in my heart.
[8]But my brethren who went up with me made the hearts of the people melt; yet I wholly followed the Lord my God.
[9]And Moses swore on that day, Surely the land on which your feet have walked shall be an inheritance to you and your children always, because you have wholly followed the Lord my God.
[10]And now, behold, the Lord has kept me alive, as He said, these forty-five years since the Lord spoke this word to Moses, while the Israelites wandered in the wilderness; and now, behold, I am this day eighty-five years old.
[11]Yet I am as strong today as I was the day Moses sent me; as my strength was then, so is my strength now for war and to go out and to come in.
May this be our story even as we journey through life keep the word of God as our ultimate guide.
