entleman was professionally a building technologist when he had an encounter with the Lord in 1984 at the New Light Pentecostal Church led by Rev Chris Gawugah and the Lord began using him together with his wife (Rev. Ernestine Ivy Hiadzi) and the family in that church and the body of Christ. After they had studied in various Bible schools and attended several seminars (including New Directions Ministry USA, Victory Bible School, Spiritual School of Strategy among others) they were on the 1st of September 1995 ordained as Reverend Ministers by Rev Chris Gawugah their spiritual Father and Rev Simon Asore then General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Church. Hiadzi was then the Regional Property Manager of Ghana Commercial Bank and in charge of three regions - Northern, Upper East and Upper West. Hiadzi’s own words - “As the family met every dawn for family devotion, one morning, during the regular devotion in the bedroom we heard a knock behind the window. It was a woman (Mama Lucy Sewoastri) who wanted to join us for morning devotion. We had to move from the bedroom to the Living room. The family devotion became a fellowship and then it gave birth to the Church– Holy Ghost Powered Evangelistic and Deliverance Ministry. (Now shortened and called High Powered Ministries International). Prior to that the call of God was upon my life but I was trying to negotiate with God to rather support Pastors financially but one thing that I have known all my life is that when God calls you he will also equip you Halleluiah! The Lord has been faithful since that day I said yes Lord, and he has multiplied us”. In 1992, the first branch of the church was established in Bolgatanga in the Upper east region. The Church has since then started a number of branches, such as Navrongo, Vunania, Yorogu, Kandiga, Paga, Dulugu etc. Twelve years later, they came down to Accra as led by the Lord to start the Southern sector. Gift Avorkliyah’s House, moved to the frontage of a hair dressing saloon. As if the persecution was not enough, we were sacked and we found ourselves at the Sakumono school park, but as said earlier, the Lord has always been faithful. God used Mama Veronica Forson and her husband to locate the present place of worship for Lashibi. Acquiring the premises was another challenge as the numbers were not stable due to the exodus. But since God is the provider, He indeed provided and today we are the proud owners of the property. To God be the glory. After Lashibi came Medie /Drobo, Thomasville/USA, Gbestile, Ho and currently Hydraform, East -Legon, Prampram, Jema and Kpatia. Our Mission
