32nd Biennial General Council meeting of Assemblies of God, Ghana held at Pentecost Convention Center, Gomoa Fetteh (18th - 22nd Aug. 2026).

The meeting was chaired and hosted by Rev. Stephen Wengam, General Superintendent.
The theme was, “The Faith of Our Fathers” (for authenticity and greater exploits). Heb 11, and John 14:12

A POWERFUL 2ND SERVICE.

Our 2nd Service was a refreshing time in God’s presence. There was a powerful exposition of God’s Word as Ps. Eastwood Anaba ministered on “Abishai the Helper.”

We were reminded of the importance of being available to God and becoming a dependable helper in advancing His purposes.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special Thanksgiving celebration of the overwhelming re-election of Rev. Stephen Wengam as General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana.

We celebrate the 42 graduates of the 17th Batch of the Christian Growth and Maturity Class of Cedar Mountain Chapel.

Through weeks of intensive teaching on the tenets of our faith and the foundations of the church, these graduates have been equipped to grow deeper in their faith and walk more confidently with Christ.

The 1st Service of our Thanksgiving celebration service was a moment of gratitude to God for the overwhelming re-election of Rev. Stephen Wengam as General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana.

Rev. Wengam today ministered on “Faith of Our Fathers: The Enduring Faith of Moses,” reminding us of the enduring power of faith, courage and obedience.

The first family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to God and thanked the congregation.

To everyone who joined us in person and in spirit, thank you for celebrating this great victory with us.

FAITH HERITAGE NITE OBSERVED DURING 32ND GENERAL COUNCIL MEETING OF ASSEMBLIES OF GOD, GHANA

The second edition of this novel event was held On Thursday 20th Aug. 2026 during the 32nd biennial General Council meeting held at Pentecost Convention Center at Gomoa Gomoa Fetteh in the Central region.

It is an event meant to celebrate our faith and cultural diversity. The Speaker was Rev. Gregg Johnson, USA.

On that same day the General Superintendent, Rev. Stephen Wengam led the Executive Presbytery to launch “Bring back the hymn campaign”. The focus of this project is to revive the singing of hymns in our churches.
