THE PROCESS OF DELIVERANCE. PT 1

The word "Deliverance" simply means to set one free from an unpleasant situation.

Many believers, although born again, are going through stuff that doesn't make sense to them... and some of these things have persisted despite many prayers, fasting, and prophecies.

Some are experiencing setbacks, non-achievements, near-success syndromes, inability to marry or maintain a good relationship, infertility (or secondary infertility) without any good medical reasons, acute disfavor, vain labor, witchcraft attacks, etc.

I have heard many ministers and pastors debunk the ministry of deliverance, quoting 2 Cor 5:17:
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

But the truth is that man is a tri-partite being. He is a spirit being that lives in a body and has a soul.
When he gets born again...
SPIRITUALLY: His spirit man has come alive and is reconnected to God. The Holy Spirit now inhabits him. He is now born of God... This is where the main change happens.
PHYSICALLY (body): there are no changes. If he was tall, short, dark, or light, slim or chubby... Nothing changes.
SOUL (Mind)... Not instantly changed. He has to go through the process of renewing his mind with God's word.
And if there were demonic strongholds, family curses, ancestral, parental, or personal initiations... They remain until the man takes steps to break them. (And that's where deliverance comes in.)

Once he is born again, the man will certainly make heaven when he dies.
But if there are unresolved spiritual or demonic problems, he may experience frustrations... physically and mentally... while living on earth (despite his new birth).

So simply put, deliverance is needed when what happened in the past is affecting the present and hindering the future.

"For THIS PURPOSE the Son of God was manifested, THAT HE MIGHT DESTROY THE WORKS OF THE DEVIL"
(1 John 3:8b Emphasis mine)

JESUS CAME FOR YOUR TOTAL FREEDOM!

Prayers:
By the authority in the name of Jesus...
* I command your unconditional release and freedom from every demonic oppression!
* I command every ancestral covenant, curse, and stronghold that is limiting you to be broken!
* I command setbacks, limitations, non-achievements, and the inability to maintain success to break!

"Therefore, If the Son sets you free, you shall be free indeed."
(John 8:36)

A church that never confronts bo***ge is not a hospital for souls… it becomes a waiting room for demons.

Let’s be honest in love and truth.

How is it that people can shout, dance, run the aisles, speak the language of church culture…
…and still go home bound by addiction, lust, bitterness, unforgiveness, po*******hy, pride, fear, and secret sin?

Because noise is not freedom.
Emotion is not deliverance.
Activity is not transformation.

Biblically, deliverance was never a side ministry. It was central to Jesus’ work.

Luke 4:18
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me… He has sent Me to proclaim freedom for the captives.”

The word freedom there connects to the Greek word aphesis meaning release from bo***ge, pardon, letting go, sending away what held you captive.

Jesus did not just inspire people.
He set them free.

When Jesus encountered demonic oppression, He did not negotiate with it.
He cast it out.

When Jesus encountered sickness tied to spiritual oppression, He addressed root and fruit.

When Jesus encountered religious systems that looked holy but kept people bound, He confronted them publicly.

Here is the uncomfortable truth.

You can learn how to shout and never learn how to be free.
You can master church language and still be spiritually chained.
You can serve on teams and still be tormented privately.

Why?

Because many places focus on performance instead of transformation.
Crowds instead of disciples.
Moments instead of freedom.
Platforms instead of presence.

Deliverance is not about people rolling on floors or emotional chaos.
Deliverance is about removing legal access the enemy has in a life through sin, trauma, lies, and agreement with darkness.

John 8:36
“Who the Son sets free is free indeed.”

Not free on Sunday only.
Not free emotionally only.
Free in mind.
Free in habits.
Free in identity.
Free in private.

If people can come to church for years and never get free, we have to ask hard questions.

Are we entertaining demons instead of confronting them?
Are we medicating symptoms but never addressing roots?
Are we protecting systems instead of protecting souls?

Because Jesus never celebrated bo***ge.
He destroyed it.

The goal is not just attendance.
The goal is freedom.

The goal is not just emotional moments.
The goal is transformation.

The goal is not just people gathering.
The goal is captives becoming sons and daughters who walk in authority.

The church is supposed to be a place where chains break.
Where minds are renewed.
Where identity is restored.
Where darkness loses territory.

Not a place where people learn how to function while bound.

This is not condemnation.
This is a call back to power.
Back to truth.
Back to freedom.

Because shouting while bound is still bo***ge.
But encountering Jesus… changes everything.
