INTRODUCTION
Beloved, I came with a word for somebody tonight: God has a lineup of blessings with your name on it!
There are things God has prepared for you that you have not seen, things your mind has not imagined, and blessings that will arrive in ways you never expected.
The Bible says: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
Tonight, I am happy to announce to you:
There is a divine surprise coming your way!
You may not know the time.
You may not know the method.
You may not know the person God will use.
But one thing I know: God has not forgotten you!
Some of you have waited for so long that you have stopped expecting anything.
You have prayed until your prayer became a whisper.
You have believed until disappointment began speaking louder than your faith. But tonight, God is saying:
“Get ready! I am about to surprise you!”
⸻ 1. GOD SPECIALIZES IN DIVINE SURPRISES
Many people do not understand the ways of God because God does not always announce His moves before He makes them.
Sometimes God works silently.
Sometimes He works secretly.
Sometimes He works behind the scenes.
And then suddenly— WHAT GOD HAS BEEN PREPARING IN SECRET APPEARS IN PUBLIC!
That is why Scripture repeatedly speaks about God causing something to overtake His people.
An overtaking blessing is a blessing that catches you by surprise.
You were expecting one thing, but God gives you something greater.
You were preparing for a delay, but God releases a breakthrough.
You were expecting another “no,” but God gives you a resounding YES! Somebody hear me:
Your long-awaited YES is closer than you think! The time for doubting God is over.
The season of wondering, “When will God remember me?” is coming to an end.
I have good news for you tonight:
GOD WILL SURPRISE YOU IN JESUS’ MIGHTY NAME!
⸻ 2. GOD MAY DELAY THE MIRACLE, BUT HE WILL NOT DENY HIS PURPOSE
There are times when God allows a situation to continue because He is preparing something bigger than what you originally asked for.
The Shunammite woman had lived with barrenness for years.
She had learned to live with disappointment.
She had stopped expecting the impossible.
But when God stepped into her situation through Elisha, her story changed.
2 Kings 4:8–17 God gave her what she had long desired.
The child that seemed impossible became a testimony.
This teaches us something powerful: A long delay does not mean God has cancelled your destiny.
Sometimes the waiting season is simply the preparation season.
You may be looking at your life and saying: “Nothing is happening.”
But heaven may be saying: “Something is being prepared.”
You may see emptiness.
God sees fullness coming.
You may see delay.
God sees divine timing.
You may see impossibility. God sees an opportunity to reveal His power.
⸻3. DIVINE SURPRISES CHANGE THE ATMOSPHERE OF YOUR LIFE
A divine surprise is when God intervenes in your situation in a creative, unusual, unexpected, and pleasant way.
God rearranges circumstances.
God opens doors.
God connects people.
God changes situations.
God brings breakthroughs that make you look back and say: “Only God could have done this!”
Divine surprises can be so powerful that they mesmerize the mind, shock the heart, and leave people wondering how it happened.
You will not always be able to explain what God does.
Sometimes your testimony will simply be: “I don’t know how He did it, but He did it!”
That is the God we serve.
⸻ 4. GOD CAN TURN AN ORDINARY DAY INTO A MIRACLE
Look at Peter.
Peter was a fisherman.
He had worked.
He had struggled.
He had cast his net.
And yet, there was nothing to show for his effort.
Then Jesus stepped into his boat.
Luke 5:8–9 Peter had not experienced a divine surprise like this before.
Jesus used his boat to preach, and then something unexpected happened.
The same Peter who had experienced an empty net encountered an overwhelming catch.
One encounter with Jesus changed the outcome of his day.
Hear me tonight: Your situation can change in one moment.
One phone call can change things.
One connection can change things.
One divine instruction can change things.
One door can change things.
One encounter with God can change everything!
Never underestimate what God can do in one moment.
⸻ 5. GOD WILL MAKE YOU SEE BEAUTY WHERE YOU EXPECTED UGLINESS
The Word of God declares: “He has made everything beautiful in its time.”
— Ecclesiastes 3:11 When God decides to bless His children, He knows how to turn situations around.
Where you expected shame, He can bring Where you expected tears, He can bring laughter.
Where you expected rejection, He can bring acceptance.
Where you expected emptiness, He can bring abundance.
Where you expected a closed door, He can create a new opportunity.
Somebody who has not experienced a divine surprise for a long time: GET READY!
Your season of unexpected goodness is coming.
⸻6. GOD CAN MAKE YOUR ENEMIES FIGHT THEMSELVES
There are battles you will not have to fight because God Himself will fight them for you.
Look at Jehoshaphat.
When Judah was surrounded by enemies, God gave them an unusual strategy.
They praised God.
And as they praised, the Lord caused confusion among their enemies.
2 Chronicles 20:22–25 The people of God did not have to manufacture the victory.
God arranged the battle!
Tonight, I declare:
Every power fighting against your progress shall be frustrated in Jesus’ mighty name!
Those who thought they were winning shall discover that the battle has changed.
Those who have been standing against you shall lose their advantage.
Those who have been holding what belongs to you shall no longer have the power to keep it.
God is turning the table!
⸻ 7. GOD WILL DO MORE THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE
Ephesians 3:20 tells us that God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think.
Not according to your limitation.
Not according to your history.
Not according to your bank account.
Not according to the opinions of people.
According to His power!
There is power at work in you.
So tonight, switch on your faith!
Faith is your response to what God has promised.
Do not allow your past disappointments to dictate your future expectations.
Do not let yesterday’s failure convince you that tomorrow cannot be different.
Do not allow what you see to cancel what God has spoken.
BELIEVE AGAIN!
EXPECT AGAIN!
EXPECT AGAIN!
PREPARE AGAIN!
Because God is able to surprise you beyond your imagination.
⸻ 8. GOD IS DOING A NEW THING
Isaiah 43:18–19 says: “Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old.
Behold, I will do a new thing.”
God is saying: Stop looking backward!
What happened yesterday does not have the final word over your tomorrow.
The old season is not your permanent address.
The disappointment is not your destiny.
The delay is not your conclusion.
The rejection is not your identity.
GOD IS DOING A NEW THING!
And when God begins a new thing, nobody can stop Him.
⸻ PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS
Tonight, I declare over your life: May God surprise you with an answer you did not expect!
May God surprise you with a door you did not know existed.
May God surprise you with a connection that will move your destiny forward.
May God surprise you with restoration.
May God surprise you with abundance.
May God surprise you with favour.
May God surprise you with good news.
May God surprise you in your family.
May God surprise you in your work.
May God surprise you in your ministry.
May God surprise you in every area where you have been waiting.
Your long-awaited YES is coming!
The God who remembered the Shunammite woman will remember you.
The God who filled Peter’s empty net will fill your empty places.
The God who defeated the enemies of Jehoshaphat will fight your battles.
The God who promised to do a new thing will make a way where there seems to be no way.
⸻ THE NEXT THREE DAYS Listen carefully:
Over the next three days, I declare that God will begin to rearrange situations concerning your life.
May God cause those who have been fighting against your progress to lose their advantage.
May doors begin to open.
May delayed blessings begin to move.
May unexpected favour locate you.
May what appeared impossible begin to become possible.
Abundance shall be your portion in Jesus’ mighty name!
⸻ FINAL CHARGE
Children of God, prepare yourself! Do not prepare for disappointment.
Prepare for testimony.
Do not prepare for another rejection.
Prepare for divine acceptance.
Do not prepare for another delay.
Prepare for divine acceleration.
Do not prepare for another closed door.
Prepare for an open door.
Because God is ready to surprise you.
Psalm 126 speaks of a restoration so powerful that the people could hardly believe what God had done.
There are testimonies that will make you laugh again.
There are blessings that will make you say: "This can only be God!”
The Lord is commanding the express delivery of blessings.
What has been delayed will move.
What has been hidden will come to light.
What has been held back will be released.
What has been mocked will become a testimony.
THE TABLE IS BEING PREPARED!
God is preparing a table before you.
He is releasing fresh anointing upon your head.
He is turning your tears into joy.
He is turning your shame into honour.
He is turning your waiting into celebration.
And when God does it, you will know that it was nobody but Him.
So lift up your faith tonight and declare:
“LORD, I AM READY FOR MY DIVINE SURPRISE!”
What God will do for you, you will never forget.
What God will bring into your life will be greater than what you imagined.
What God is preparing will outshine what you have experienced.
And your testimony shall be: “THE LORD HAS DONE GREAT THINGS FOR ME!” IN JESUS’ MIGHTY NAME.
AMEN!
