OH LORD, HELP ME! MY CASE IS URGENT
Tonight is another Kairos moment, and we are going to encounter God in a very unique way, more than ever before.
Because in life, there will be times when we shall need God urgently due to the gravity of what we are passing through.
Whenever you need God urgently in your life, the greatest medium that God will use to step in is prayer, because prayer sends an SOS message to heaven. And heaven is under obligation to answer because God always helps His children.
We see this clearly in Acts 12:1–16, where the church prayed urgently for Peter when he was imprisoned and was in danger of being killed by King Herod.
One thing you need to know about this kingdom is that anything God has done before, He is capable of doing again.
Isaiah 48:11 reminds us that God will not give His glory to another.
God helped Peter urgently because the people cried to Him on his behalf.
They did not keep quiet. They prayed without ceasing.
Do you know that when you need help urgently, you don’t keep quiet? You have to open your mouth and cry unto the Lord.
God said in Psalm 81:10: “Open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.” Any believer who wants God to help him or her must learn how to pray SOS prayers. That is what will bring divine intervention.
In life, there will be a time when we shall need God urgently.
When you need help urgently, you don’t keep quiet.
When you need help urgently, you must be ready to do something different.
Look at Joseph. What do you think must have happened when Joseph was brought out of prison urgently to see Pharaoh? His story suddenly changed.
The Bible says: “Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon.” — Genesis 41:14 Joseph moved from the prison to the palace because God intervened urgently in his situation.
The greatest thing you must know in this life is that there is no genuine call or cry to God for help that He will ignore.
Do you know that God is concerned about you? He is concerned about your health, business, career, profession, family, and destiny.
He wants the affairs of your life to be good.
John 11:22 says: “But I know that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.” I love those words: “Even now.”
Even now, God can intervene.
Even now, God can change your story.
Even now, God can open a door.
Even now, God can answer your prayer.
Therefore, tonight, don’t trivialize the power of: “OH LORD, HELP ME! MY CASE IS URGENT!” Your situation may be urgent, but God is greater than your situation.
Your case may look impossible, but nothing is impossible with God.
Cry out to Him.
Pray with faith.
Trust Him for divine intervention.
And may the God who delivered Peter, remembered Joseph, and answered His children in times of trouble, arise and answer you speedily, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!
