SOMETHING BIG IN YOU

"O Lord, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king's cupbearer."
Nehemiah 1:11, KJV

Emmanuel, Nehemiah did not have resources, did not have a prominent position, did not have experience as a builder, but he had a heart to see the walls and gates of Jerusalem restored, and he dared to believe.

He dared to go to the king of Persia and ask his help. He dared to pray bold prayers, and he saw one amazing answer to prayer after another.

Don’t be intimidated by the size of your dream. God doesn’t give big dreams to small people. There is greatness in you!

There are new levels in you. There is a world changer in you. There is a history maker in you. That’s why God put something big in you. As with Nehemiah,
He knows what you’re capable of.
SHALOM!

20/20 VISION

And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.
(Deuteronomy 34:7, KJV)

Brethren, when Moses was at the end of his life, the Scripture says that his natural eyesight was not dim, but consider this as also symbolic.

His eyes of faith, the eyes of his heart, were still clear, still looking for God’s goodness and full of expectancy.

At 120 years old, he had 20/20 vision of the awesome God who came to him at the age of 80 and said it was time to deliver the Israelites.

Forty years after Moses had made a tragic mistake that seemingly caused him to miss God’s plan, he went on to part the Red Sea, to bring water out of a rock, and to see many other supernatural signs.

If Moses were here, he would tell you that God’s favor is not for a season; it’s for your lifetime! You haven’t made too many mistakes, the obstacles are not too big, and God’s still going to bring to pass what He promised you.
Shalom!

ARMED FOR SPIRITUAL WARFARE (2)

"Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;"
Ephesians 6:18 KJV

Your spiritual armour must be put on correctly so that all the pieces fit; otherwise, you’re vulnerable to defeat at Satan’s hands. So, how do you do that? Paul tells us how: ‘Pray in the Spirit at all times …’ Your clothes closet is where you find what you need to wear in the natural realm, and your prayer closet is where you find what you need to wear in the spiritual realm. Only through prayer do you become clothed for spiritual warfare, so don’t go into battle undressed.

Paul writes, "But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof." (Romans 13:14 KJV). That’s one of the most effective verses in Scripture when it comes to winning over temptation. Professionals who train dogs to listen and obey their commands, no matter what, start by throwing a piece of red meat in front of the dog. The untrained dog immediately goes for it, but eventually, the trainer teaches the animal to give him its undivided attention regardless of what’s put in front of it. When the training process is complete, the dog will not take its eyes off its master, even when temptation is right under its nose.

There is an important lesson here for you. If you keep your eyes on Jesus, it won’t matter what kind of lie or temptation Satan throws your way. Every now and then, you may want to ‘go for it’, but if you stay focused on Jesus and listen to His voice alone, you will be victorious in the fight.

To put on your spiritual armor correctly and be prepared for spiritual warfare, it is essential to follow Paul's guidance by consistently praying in the Spirit. Just as you find what to wear in your physical closet, your spiritual clothing is obtained through prayer. Clothed in the Lord Jesus Christ, you become equipped for spiritual battl

ARMED FOR SPIRITUAL WARFARE (1)

"Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."
Ephesians 6:11 KJV

Every day you live, you will battle the world, the flesh, and the devil. In order to be armed for spiritual warfare, Paul gives us six specific pieces of spiritual armour. Here are the first three:

1) The sturdy of truth. "Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;" (Ephesians 6:14 KJV).
During World War II, a plane flew many miles past its destination. Why? Because the crew, not realising there were such strong tailwinds, refused to believe the cockpit instruments. As a result, everyone on board perished. Yet when the plane was found years later, the instruments were still in perfect working order. You can depend on God’s Word to guide you. Read it daily and believe it no matter what your mind or emotions tell you.

2) ‘The body armour of God’s righteousness’
(Ephesians 6:14 KJV). Note that it is God’s righteousness, not yours. You’re not saved by trusting your own performance but by trusting Christ’s performance on the cross. When you know that, God’s righteousness becomes the breastplate that protects your heart from doubts about your salvation (see 2 Corinthians 5:21).

3) ‘For shoes, "And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;"
Ephesians 6:15 KJV). Shoes indicate you’re going somewhere, so don’t expect to hear from God if you’re determined to remain frozen in the same spot. When you start moving ahead, He confirms the rightness of your direction by giving you a sense of peace (see Colossians 3:15).

When you don’t have peace about something, seek God for direction. This is particularly important if you’re a self-starter who loves what you do. God wants you to have an abiding sense of His peace – so don’t go without it.

To effectively engage in spiritual warfare, Paul outlines three essential pieces of spiritual armor
