Praise the Lord family. We're glad to announce the roll out of THE POTTER'S HOUSE VIRTUAL SERVICE - an initiative of the Anyaa Ablekuma Area of The Church of Pentecost (under the headship of Apostle Samuel Gakpetor) designed to serve as a platform for nurturing growing Christians and transforming them into Disciples who would positively impact their generations and spheres - education, family, workplace, neighbourhood, etc.

It shall be a weekly online Service that would stream live (every Wednesday, starting from 12th May at 9pm) on our page and YouTube channel @ CoP Anyaa Ablekuma Area. Weekly Zoom links to the Service shall also be shared via our social media handles. Every week's session shall surely be an empowering experience, with awesome song and inspiring word ministrations from seasoned and Spirit-filled singers and speakers. Shalom.

On Sunday 18th May 2021, The Church of Pentecost in Ghana shall be honoring the Man of God, Apostle Emmanuel Gyesi-Addo for his 10 years of Faithful & Fruitful Service as International Missions Director (IMD). He had the arduous task of overseeing the extension of the Church's global coverage by breaking grounds for the planting of more churches across the world, ensuring the healthy and holistic growth of all our external branches.

During his 2-term period, the Church's presence in the nations increased from 86 to 108. Prior to his election into this Office (in 2011), Aps Gyesi-Addo & wife served God and the COP in the following positions and stations:

1. Administrative Secretary to the IMD (1991-1993), doubling as Resident Minister for Twereboa (which was then under Odorkor District)
2. District Pastor, Agona Nsaba (1994-1995)
3. National Head, Senegal (1995-1998)
4. Visiting Missionary to Togo & Niger (1998-1999)
5. National Head, Switzerland (1999-2002)
6. Resident Minister, Pentecost International Worship Center - Tema (2002-2007)
7. National Head, Gabon (2007-2011)

With motivation from the generosity of the Zarephath widow to Elijah (in 1 Kings 17:8-16) and that of the Shunemite woman to Elisha (in 2 Kings 4:8-17), all Assemblies of the COP in Ghana are encouraged to appreciate the ministry of Aps & Mrs Gyesi-Addo with our generous gifts. Shalom.

DISCLAIMER ‼️‼️‼️

Dearly beloved,

We have sighted a disturbing video of a health facility that seems to have a roof leakage challenge. We want to clarify that the health facility in question does not belong to THE CHURCH OF PENTECOST as purported.

In the said video, rainwater is seen dripping through the ceiling into a bucket (already overflowing with water) in a room where a patient is also receiving treatment. This patient is flanked by two treatment-beds on each side; one of the beds is made with a “Church of Pentecost” branded sheet.

This unfortunate scene has understandably elicited negative reactions from the public, many of whom have linked the facility to The Church of Pentecost because of the branded bedspread.

It is worthy of note that in 2019, the Church donated 50 pieces of bedsheets to the hospital. Quite recently, the facility was hit with a rainstorm destroying its roofing.

The Church of Pentecost, like many others who have seen the video, is saddened and concerned about the situation and, therefore, calls on the appropriate authorities to go to the aid of the facility. We, however, want to reiterate that the facility at issue does not belong to the Church.

Thank you.

Apostle Alexander Nana Yaw Kumi-Larbi
General Secretary, The Church of Pentecost
