Pastor James’ message on “Nailed to the Cross” was a powerful reminder of the finished work of Christ and its direct impact on the believer’s life. Drawing from passages like Colossians 2:14, the sermon emphasized that everything that stood against us—sin, guilt, condemnation, and the demands of the law—was completely dealt with at the cross of Jesus Christ.

The message brought clarity to the reality that the cross was not just an event of suffering, but a divine transaction. Our past failures, present struggles, and even future shortcomings were symbolically “nailed” with Christ. This means believers are no longer bound by shame or spiritual debt; instead, they walk in freedom, righteousness, and new identity.

Pastor James also challenged the congregation to live in the consciousness of this truth. Too often, believers carry burdens that Christ has already taken away. The call was to let go—to stop revisiting what God has already forgiven—and to embrace the liberty that comes through the cross.

In essence, the message was both liberating and transformative. It reminded us that the cross is not just a symbol we admire, but a reality we must live in daily. What was nailed to the cross should no longer have power over us.
