TO THE SINGLE LADIES

Aunty, can you bring down those 'olumo rock' you call expectations ma? It is not God's will that you marry when you should be nursing your first or second child already. God is not wicked. He has your best interest at heart and wants you to marry in time.
That a guy does not have today does not mean he won't have tomorrow. That he is not meeting your expectations today does not mean he can't exceed those expectations tomorrow.
Don't be surprised you might loose that guy into the hands of an humble lady who is ready to push through and build with him, then you'll see them tomorrow only for you to sing songs of regrets.
May that not be your portion in Jesus name.
Above all, marry in the Lord's will. His will may not look like what you desire at the beginning, but be foolish enough to accept and obey His will!

TO THE SINGLE LADIES
One of the reasons many ladies are still very much single is because of their high expectations of Mr Right. If you like, come for my head..
Am I saying you should not have some qualities you desire in a guy? Am I saying you should go ahead and take 'anything' that comes your way? NO. But, watch your throat!
He must have this and that else I will not marry him. In fact, he is a no go area for me. Aunty, you 'gangan' what do you have? Didn't Jesus die for you too?
The kind of marriage you envisage only exist in your head. If you want the kind of marriage you really desire, then you have to pull it out of your head and work it out.
Having a beautiful marriage is not automatic. What happened to marrying that guy who has little for now while you both work to reach your desired goal in/for marriage?
What happened to you both starting small and working towards the kind of marriage you've always prayed for?
Not all marital delay is spiritual, ma. Some ladies are just their own problem. Some of them are too proud to start from the scratch with a guy like it's a disease.
There are lots of happily married mummies on this space, when you hear the testimonies of how they started out with their man and how God in His infinite mercy has blessed their family today, you will marvel.

REF: Isaiah 30:30
And the lord shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation OF his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.
DEFINITION
The descending blow of God’s arm is best explained using the image of boxers fighting in a ring. A boxer soon begins to overpower the opponent and, as the opponent staggers, he gives him a heavy, downward punch that knocks him down and out. That is a descending blow. When it comes down, it knocks the opponent to the ground.
The descending blow we are talking about here is not from the hand/arm of an ordinary boxer, but it the descending blow of God’s arm (arm Almighty, Omnipotent one)
CONTEXT
As the people of God sing and praise the Lord, the prophet is saying that God will show the descent of His mighty arm upon the enemies of Israel. God’s mighty hand will descend in:
? Devouring flames
? Clouds bursts
? Thunderstorms
? Huge hailstones
These will knock down and utterly destroy the enemies
RELEVANCE
The descending blow of God’s arm can be called down upon:
1. Those who oppose the gospel. This weapon is especially useful against those who use violence (i.e religious fanatics)
2. All anti-Christ spirits who attack churches spiritually. These demonic spirits can be overpowered with the descending blow of God’s arm.
3. Individuals who attack Christians. You can fight against those who attack preachers, Christian workers, etc, using the descending blow of God’s arm.
4. All evil spirits/powers that manifest violently against the believer. These demons or powers seek to maim or destroy. You should not allow them.
5. Human agents of evil powers ( e.g witches, wizards, etc)
PRAYER POINTS
1. Every stubborn pursuer of my life and family is paralyzed by the descending blow of God’s arm in Jesus’ name.

*TEXT* Romans 12:18 NIV
If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.

*INTRODUCTION*
Beloved, we are continuing with our practical steps to living at peace with everyone. Let’s look at our 4th way.

*4. The need for Reflect.* We need to reflect on issues that confront us very well before taking any drastic move. Reflection of thought is important many a times , a hasty response result in a tragic outcome because time to think through all of the issues and angles may not be taken. Naturally, there are times when fast action is essential to ensure safety but these times do not excuse the many other times when reacting with care and consideration will result in much better outcomes for all concerned.

If someone hurts you physically or mentally, do not react with anger or violence. Stop and think. Choose instead to respond peacefully. Ask the other person to stop and think and tell them that anger or violence will not resolve the issue at hand. Simply say "please don't do that". If they refuse to stop, remove yourself from the scene or situation. Just stop yourself. When you feel like the need to respond to something in a manner that portrays your anger, frustration, or irritation, tell yourself "Stop".
