The Ga Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana successfully hosts the Joint Retreat and Council Meeting for JY Leaders and Children's Service Teachers—a sacred time of reflection, learning, and recommitment to our rich Presbyterian heritage.
Under the theme "Celebrating Our Heritage: Building on the Foundation Already Laid" (1 Corinthians 3:11), leaders gathered to be refreshed, aligned, and empowered to nurture the next generation in faith, discipline, and service.
Together, we build on Christ—the only sure foundation.

Ga Presbytery JY Wins National Zone 1 Bible Quiz, heads to national in December

The Ga Presbytery hosted their counterparts from Ga West, Dangme Tongu and Volta Presbyteries

Ga Presbytery won the competition which was fiercely contested by Ga West Presbytery with 99 points, Ga West placed 2nd with 96.5 points, Dangme Tongu placed 3rd with 68 points whiles Volta Presbytery obtained 62 points and placed 4th in the competition.

Ga Presbytery took lead in the first round but Ga West overtook them in the second round and maintain the lead until the 3rd round when Ga Presbytery closed the gap in with two points. Later in that same round, Ga West Presbytery lost one question and later obtained 1.5 marks from a question which was not answered to the satisfaction of the quiz master. Ga Presbytery took the opportunity to overtake their opponents by answering all their questions correctly in that same round and maintained the lead till the final round and end of the competition.

The competition was without series of protest but became very interesting at a point where Ga and Ga West fight for supremacy, Dangme Tongu and Volta was also fighting at the bottom but at the long run, Dangme Tongu demonstrated their powers over Volta Presbytery.

Ga Presbytery will meet their competitors who won the competition from other four zones in December for supremacy.
