Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish (Esther 4:16).
There is a call on everyone's life. Esther found herself in the palace as queen to replace Vashti, her predecessor. A plot to eliminate all Jews was underway; disaster was looming.
Esther inspired by her uncle Modercai stood up for her people's safety even at the risk of her life. It was unlawful and life threatening to appear before the king without an invitation from him. Yet Esther went there.
How far are you willing to go for God and His people? What much are you willing and ready to do in order for God to be glorified and His people blessed?
Are you a taker and receiver or a giver as well? Do something great for God while you have the opportunity. Mature from the dependency syndrome and begin to do things for God.
