REFRESHING WORD SERVICE

Speaker: Prophet Dr. Sampson Asare
Message: THE WONDERS OF HOSPITALITY

πŸ“– 1 Peter 4:9 | Romans 12:13 | Joshua 2:1–19

Hospitality is more than opening your door to peopleβ€”it is opening your heart to divine possibilities.

The Greek word Philoxenia means love for strangers, kindness toward guests, and gracious reception.

✨ THE WONDERS OF HOSPITALITY

πŸ”Ή It attracts divine visitation.
πŸ”Ή It opens closed doors.
πŸ”Ή It creates divine connections.
πŸ”Ή It releases favor.
πŸ”Ή It makes room for miracles.
πŸ”Ή It creates opportunities for remembrance.
πŸ”Ή It increases your influence.

Rahab welcomed the spies, and what looked like a simple act of kindness became a doorway to preservation, favor, and a transformed destiny.

Never underestimate the power of welcoming someone, showing kindness, or making room for others. Your simple act of hospitality today may be connected to a divine opportunity tomorrow.

πŸ™πŸ½ Make room for God. Make room for His servants. Make room for people. Make room for divine encounters.

Sometimes, when you open your heart to others, God opens doors for you.

Hospitality may look ordinary in your hands, but in God’s hands, it can become extraordinary!

IWLC | REFRESHING WORD SERVICE | THE WONDERS OF HOSPITALITY | PROPHET DR. SAMPSON ASARE
The Rahab show of hospitality in Joshua Chapter 2:1-20 ignited a powerful sermon at Refreshing Word Service this morning with supporting scriptures 1 Peter 4:9; Romans 12:13; Matthew 14:16

The Master Teacher and Lead Servant Prophet Dr. Sampson Asare brought the Worship-City Auditorium alive when he preached a message entitled "The Wonders Of Hospitality".

According to Prophet Dr. Asare, HOSPITALITY IS NOT JUST KINDNESS. IT IS A HEAVENLY VIRTUE.

SOME MIND-BLOWING TRUTHS ABOUT HOSPITALITY:
IT ATTRACTS DEFINE VISITATION; IT CREATES DIVINE CONNECTION; HOSPITALITY HAS POWER TO CONNECT GENERATIONAL BLESSING;
HOSPITALITY OPENED A DOOR FOR RAHAB TO BECOME THE FAMILY LINE OF JESUS; HOSPITALITY HAS A SUSTAINING POWER; IT CREATES ROOM FOR REMEMBRANCE...

Rahab hid God's people.
She bargained: "Save her family because she was hospitable to God's people."

Her WHOLE FAMILY was spared and she entered the bloodline of Jesus.

Today Prophet Dr Sampson Asare taught us:
"Hospitality doesn't go waste. It will speak one day."

Are you hospitable to:
1. The things of GOD? (Towards God)
2. The servants of GOD? (Towards His Servant, Proohet Dr. Sampson Asare)

God is watching.

Which point blessed you the most? Comment below and tell us where you are reading fromπŸ‘‡

THEME FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST:

THE WORD THAT SANCTIFIES

John 17:17

β€œSanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” (KJV)

August is our month of THE WORD THAT SANCTIFIES. In His prayer for His disciples, Jesus did not ask the Father to remove them from the world, but to sanctify them by His truth. The instrument of sanctification is the Word of God. As believers, we live in a world filled with temptation, compromise, deception, and moral corruption. Yet God has provided His Word as the divine means of cleansing, separating, transforming, and preserving His people.

Sanctification is not merely about avoiding sin; it is about being set apart for God’s holy purpose. The more we submit ourselves to the authority of Scripture, the more the Holy Spirit conforms us into the image of Christ.

What Does It Mean to Sanctify?

The Greek word β€œhagiazō” means:

* To make holy.
* To set apart for God’s use.
* To consecrate.
* To purify from sin.
* To dedicate to God’s service.

Sanctification is both a position and a process. In Christ, believers are declared holy, and throughout their lives they are continually transformed into Christ’s likeness.

The Word Sanctifies by Revealing God’s Truth

Jesus declared,

β€œThy word is truth.”

Truth exposes error, destroys deception, and reveals God’s standards. A believer who neglects the Word will eventually embrace the world’s values. God’s truth renews our minds and reshapes our thinking.

John 8:32

β€œAnd ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

Freedom begins with truth.

The Word Cleanses Our Lives

Ephesians 5:26

β€œThat he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.”

The Word continually washes away worldly influences. Every time we read, meditate upon, hear, and obey Scripture, our hearts are purified.

David asked,

Psalm 119:9

β€œWherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.”

The answer to holy living is not human effort but continual submission to God’s Word.

The Word Separates Us Unto God

Sanctification means separationβ€”not isolation from people, but dedication to God.

God’s Word teaches us:

* What to pursue.
* What to avoid.
* How to live.
* How to worship.
* How to love.
* How to serve.

A sanctified believer belongs completely to God.

The Word Renews the Mind

Transformation begins in the mind.

Romans 12:2

β€œBe ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…”

The Word removes wrong beliefs, sinful patterns, destructive habits, and worldly thinking, replacing them with the mind of Christ.

The Word Produces Holiness

Holiness is the fruit of continual obedience.

1 Peter 1:15–16

β€œBe ye holy; for I am holy.”

The Word empowers believers to pursue purity in:

* Character
* Speech
* Conduct
* Relationships
* Worship
* Stewardship

The Word Equips Us for Every Good Work

2 Timothy 3:16–17

β€œAll scripture is given by inspiration of God… that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”

Sanctification is not only about avoiding evil but also about being prepared for God’s assignments.

Evidences of a Sanctified Life

A believer who is sanctified by the Word will display:

* Love for God’s presence.
* Hatred for sin.
* Hunger for Scripture.
* Obedience to God’s commands.
* Christlike character.
* Humility.
* Integrity.
* Compassion.
* Spiritual maturity.
* Fruitfulness in ministry.

How Can We Experience the Sanctifying Power of the Word?

1. Read the Word daily.
2. Study it diligently.
3. Meditate upon it continually.
4. Believe every promise.
5. Obey every instruction.
6. Allow the Holy Spirit to illuminate it.
7. Live according to its principles.
8. Share it with others.
