🫐Fruit of the Day Devotional🫐

*BE STEADFAST AND UNMOVABLE*

*_58"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."_*
*📙1 Corinthians 15:58📙*

Beloved in the Lord, how are you doing? Please come around as we learn God's word.

In this verse, the Apostle Paul encourages the believers in Corinth after speaking to them about the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The whole chapter of 1 Corinthians 15 talks about the hope we have as Christians: that because Jesus rose from the dead, we too shall live again. Paul reminds us that death has been defeated and we have eternal life through Christ. After giving this powerful truth, Paul tells the church to stand firm in their faith. He says, “Be steadfast and immovable.” That means we should not allow anything to shake our trust in God. Even when things are difficult, or when people try to lead us away from Christ, we must remain strong and faithful.

Paul also says we should always abound in the work of the Lord. That means we should not be lazy or discouraged in serving God. Whether you preach, sing, pray, help the poor, clean the church, or encourage others, do it with all your heart. Don’t wait for a perfect time. Keep doing God’s work now. Sometimes, it may feel like no one sees what we are doing or that our efforts do not matter. But Paul encourages us that our labour is not in vain. God sees it. He rewards those who serve Him faithfully. Even if people don’t appreciate you, God does. One day, He will bless you for every good work you did in His name. Don’t give up. Stand firm in your faith. Be unmovable in your commitment. Keep working for God. Your labour is not wasted.

*_9 "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have the opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith."_*
*📙Galatians 6:9-10📙*

Hello Precious One, I hope you're doing well. Please join us as we study God's word.

The Apostle Paul wrote the letter to the Galatians to correct false teachings and encourage believers to live by the Spirit, not by the law. In Galatians 6, Paul talks about how Christians should support one another, carry each other’s burdens, and sow seeds of righteousness. In verses 9 and 10, Paul gives us a strong encouragement: do not get tired of doing what is right. Why? Because if we keep doing good without giving up, there will be a reward. Sometimes doing the right thing is not easy. We may feel tired, discouraged, or unappreciated. People may not thank us, and we might not see results quickly. But Paul says we will reap “in due season”, at the right time if we do not give up.

Verse 10 reminds us to make good use of every opportunity to help others. We should do good to everyone no matter who they are. But we must especially care for our fellow believers, the family of God. When we support each other in love and good deeds, we show that we belong to Christ. This message is simple but powerful: Keep doing good. Don’t stop because of challenges or disappointments. Your kindness, service, prayers, and love are seeds planted. God sees it all, and the harvest is coming. So, if you’re tired today, be encouraged. God has not forgotten you. If you’re helping someone, keep doing it with joy. Your reward is on the way. Let us be faithful and loving. Let us shine as lights in a dark world.

🍉Fruit of the Day Devotional🍉

*OPEN HEAVENS; GOOD TREASURE.*

*_12 “The LORD will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand.”_*
*📙Deuteronomy 28:12📙*

Beloved congregation, I warmly welcome you into October, our Month of Open Heavens! We thank God for bringing us this far. We have seen His goodness, protection, mercy, and faithfulness. As we enter this new month, I believe that God is bringing us into a season of greater grace, favour, blessings, divine opportunities, and testimonies.

Our scripture for this month comes from Deuteronomy 28:12. To understand this verse, we must look at its background. Moses was speaking to the children of Israel before they entered the Promised Land. God had delivered them from Egypt, guided them through the wilderness, and was preparing to give them the land He had promised their fathers. Moses reminded them that their relationship with God mattered. He told them that if they carefully listened to the voice of the Lord and obeyed His commandments, God would bless them. Among these promises was the powerful statement that the Lord would open His good treasure, the heavens, and bless the work of their hands. This is what we are believing God for in October. An open heaven speaks of divine access, provision, favour, and God's intervention in our lives. When heaven is opened, God can make a way where there seems to be no way. He can provide where there is lack. He can give favour where there has been rejection. He can give opportunities that human strength alone could not produce. Church, I want to encourage you as we begin this month: do not enter October with fear. Enter it with faith.

Do not allow the difficulties of yesterday to determine what you expect from God today. God is able to open the heavens over your family. He can open the heavens over your career, business, ministry, education, finances, relationships, and future. He can release grace to accomplish what you could not accomplish by your own strength. The Bible says that He will “bless all the work of your hands.” This means we should not be afraid to work, plan, pray, learn, and take godly steps. We commit our work to God and trust Him for the increase. This month, may doors of opportunity open before you. May unusual favour locate you. May grace speak for you. May God send the right people into your life. May what has been delayed receive divine attention. May your prayers produce testimonies. My brothers and sisters, October will not be an ordinary month. Let us walk in obedience, prayer, faith, and expectation. I declare over this congregation: May the heavens be opened over you. May God release His blessings upon you. May grace increase in your life. May favour surround you. May the work of your hands prosper, and may you have testimonies that will cause you to glorify God.

🥭Fruit of the Day Devotional🥭

*WE PREACH CHRIST JESUS THE LORD*

*_5 “For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake.”_*
*📜2 Corinthians 4:5📜*

The book of 2 Corinthians was written by the Apostle Paul to the church in Corinth. Good morning Beloved. I trust you're fine. Please come along as we learn and do well to share across to bless lives.

Paul had planted this church, but later some false teachers came in. They questioned Paul’s authority and tried to promote themselves. They spoke with pride and wanted attention. As a result, some believers became confused. Paul wrote this letter to defend the true gospel and to remind the church what real ministry looks like. In chapter 4, Paul explains that the message of Christ is a treasure given by God, and it must be shared with humility and faithfulness. In verse 5, Paul makes a powerful statement. He says, “We do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord.” This means the focus of Christian preaching is not the preacher, not the church, not success, and not personal stories. The focus is on Jesus Christ. Paul refused to promote himself. He did not preach his education, his experiences, or his sufferings. He preached Christ as Lord. To preach Christ Jesus as Lord means to declare that Jesus is the Son of God, the Saviour of the world, and the One who has all authority.

He died for our sins, rose from the dead, and now reigns forever. When Christ is preached, people are not drawn to human wisdom but to God’s power. True preaching points hearts to Jesus, not to the messenger. Paul also says, “and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake.” A bondservant is a willing servant. Paul saw himself as a servant of the people because he was a servant of Christ. This teaches us that ministry is not about control or fame. It is about serving others with love. When we truly know Christ, we become humble servants who care for people. This message is very important for the church today. In a time when many want recognition and praise, God reminds us that the message must remain Christ-centred. Our lives, our words, and our service must lift up Jesus. When Christ is preached, lives are changed. When Christ is Lord, pride is removed, and love grows. As believers, we may not all stand behind a pulpit, but we all preach by our lives. Let our words and actions say clearly: Jesus Christ is Lord.
