Precious One, I hope you're well. God bless you for constantly studying His word. Join us for a bite of fruit.

The book of 3 John is a short letter written by the Apostle John to a Christian named Gaius. John praises Gaius for his faithfulness and hospitality to other believers, especially travelling gospel ministers. However, John also warns him about a man named Diotrephes, who loved to have control in the church and did not receive the apostles or show kindness to fellow believers. John contrasts the good example of a man named Demetrius, who lived in truth, with the bad example of Diotrephes. In verse 11, John gives Gaius a clear instruction: do not copy evil people, but follow what is good. In life, we are often influenced by the people around us. We watch, listen, and sometimes act like those we admire. But as Christians, the Bible tells us to be careful about who we imitate. John’s words remind us that our standard for living should be based on what is good in God’s eyes, not on the behaviour of those who do wrong.

Doing good is not about impressing people, it is evidence that we belong to God. When we choose kindness, honesty, forgiveness, and humility, we show the nature of our heavenly Father. But when we choose pride, hatred, lies, or selfishness, we are not reflecting God’s heart. This verse challenges us to examine our role models. Are we copying those who walk in truth and love? Or are we following those who promote gossip, greed, and division? The truth is, what we imitate shapes who we become. God calls us to follow Jesus, our perfect example. He went about doing good, healing the sick, helping the poor, and teaching the truth. As we imitate Christ, we will become lights in a dark world. Let us decide daily to reject evil and embrace good. In our homes, workplaces, schools, and communities, may our actions speak of the God we serve. Remember; people may not read the Bible, but they will read your life.

*📗Ephesians 2:10📗*

Good morning child of God. I hope you're well. Please join us in studying God's word.

The Apostle Paul wrote the letter to the Ephesians while imprisoned in Rome. In this letter, Paul emphasizes the grace of God, the unity of the church, and the purpose of believers in Christ. Chapter 2 begins by describing our former state, dead in trespasses and sins, but then highlights the amazing love and grace of God that brings salvation through faith, not by works, lest anyone should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). Verse 10 is a powerful conclusion that reveals the purpose of our salvation: we are saved to do good works. Beloved, Ephesians 2:10 reminds us that we are not accidents or mistakes. The Bible says we are God’s workmanship, His masterpiece, His handiwork. This means that God took His time to shape us with purpose and intention. You are uniquely designed by God for something meaningful. But not only are we created by Him, we are recreated in Christ Jesus.

Through salvation, we are made new in Christ. Our sins are washed away, and our lives are given new directions. And what is that direction? Good works. We are not saved by good works, but we are saved for good works. God has already planned things for us to do, acts of kindness, service, love, truth, and righteousness. When we walk in these works, we bring glory to God and fulfil our divine purpose. This is a call to live intentionally. Your skills, your time, your gifts, they are not random. They are tools God has given you to walk in the path He prepared. Let us remember: we are God’s masterpiece, saved not just to escape hell, but to reflect God’s goodness on earth. Don’t sit idle. Rise up and walk in the good works God has prepared for you. Your life matters, and your purpose is divine.

Good morning God's own chosen generation! I hope grace is keeping you? Please come along as we study the Word today.

An important way to maintain your fellowship with God is to go after the presence. In the presence of God, you find the power of God. It is the place you find more of who He is rather than what He can do. Most of us want the benefits that come from God and remain in a distance but God's greatest desire is for you to come to Him just to sit with Him. In the very manner we spend time with friends, family, we should also spend time with God. Sometimes, the things God wants to show you can happen only in the alone time with Him. King David in this verse sort to always be in the presence of God because in that way he got to know God beyond all he had heard others say about Him. I encourage you to seek God's presence, you have heard how others have described it, find out and clear your own doubts.

Beloved, God desires for the relationship to go beyond asking and receiving for that is not the primary goal of christianity. If you want to grow then endeavour to spend time with God. Now more than ever with so much eating away our time, we need to carve out time for our spiritual needs. In His presence, there is fullness of joy. Go after the presence and live in the presence. The Glory of God is revealed in your life if you have a relationship with the Lord. Don't just be a Christian and a church goer, go deeper, stretch farther and connect with God. Have a personal and a continual relationship with Him. Enter into your closet and develop much relationship by serving Him and obeying Him. You shall experience His presence and show forth His glory. The glory of the Lord is risen upon you.

*_8 “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.”_*
*📗Philippians 4:8📗*

The Apostle Paul wrote the letter to the Philippians while he was in prison. Even in chains, he encouraged the believers in Philippi to remain joyful and strong in their faith. Come along as we learn.

The Philippian church was very dear to Paul’s heart because they supported him in prayer and in giving. In chapter 4, Paul teaches them how to find peace and joy in every situation by trusting God and focusing their minds on good and godly things. In this verse, Paul gives us a powerful secret to living a peaceful and positive Christian life. He tells us to think about the right things. Our thoughts have great power. What we think about shapes our emotions, our words, and even our actions. That is why Paul tells believers to fill their minds with things that please God. He says, “Whatever things are true.” This means we should focus on God’s truth found in His Word, not on lies or gossip. “Whatever things are noble.”

We should think about things that bring honor to God and show respect to others. “Whatever things are just.” We should think about what is right and fair in God’s sight. “Whatever things are pure.” Our thoughts should be clean, free from sin and evil. “Whatever things are lovely.” We should think about things that spread love and kindness. “Whatever things are of good report.” We should meditate on things that build faith, not fear or doubt. When we think on these things, we invite the peace of God to fill our hearts. Our minds become stronger, and our faith grows deeper. Instead of being troubled by the challenges around us, our hearts remain calm because we are focused on the goodness of God. Let us choose today to think like Christ. Let our minds be filled with His Word, His promises, and His love.
