*2 Thessalonians 3: 6*
Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is walking in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us.

In the church, there are people who are brothers but they must not be your companions. They can’t be your friends and people you flow with. Paul commands us to stay away from some based on their behaviors.

You choose to keep company with those you must avoid, you do it to your own destruction. Paul referred to them as brothers. It means they are born again and part of the church and attend the church but because of how they carry themselves, you must avoid them. Yes, avoid them. Avoid them is a command and not a suggestion. Suggestions are left for you to decide but a command is when a decision has been made for you to follow without questioning and looking back.

The path of life has already been designed for you as a child of God. Yours is to follow instead of debating it.

Avoid people whose lives do not align. Do not let your life be destroyed because of the life of another person you consider a friend or a brother.

Businesses, marriages, fellowships and ministries have been destroyed because people keep the wrong company in the name of he is my Christian brother. You don’t know better than Paul.

2 Thes 3: 14 Take special note of anyone who does not obey our instruction in this letter. Do not associate with them, in order that they may feel ashamed.* NIV

Look at how Paul concludes this matter. H ask us to take special note of those who do not obey his instructions regarding the matters he is raising. We take note and avoid them. Yes they are not our enemies but they can’t be part of those you associate with. He said we should not associate with them. Do not means do not, period. No excuses or reasons to justify your decision to do otherwise. It is your decision to walk in the scriptures or not but remember, you will live with the consequences of your actions.

Simply obey to save your life!

*CURTAILING THE AFFLICTION IN MY TIME*

*Dealing with generational destructive character*

Numbers 1:9
Why are you scheming against the LORD? He will destroy you with one blow; he won’t need to strike twice!

That which fought your mother and won must not win against you as well. You must make up your mind not to fail where your father failed.

Your father’s failure was not just spiritual but character as well. When you give your life to Christ, you are automatically operating from a place of victory. What you must now do is to make sure you avoid the character flaws that could have led to your mother’s failure. If your mother had diabetes, you must know it is in your bloodline hence you must avoids foods and lifestyle that will lead you into same. Do not continue on the same path and keep shouting that you are healed. Yes you are healed in Christ but once your lifestyle is negative, it means you have chosen to have the same trouble you were delivered from.

As a woman, you must learn how to speak with gentleness and feminism in your voice or attitude else your marriage will be problematic. Same applies to you as a man who will think you must speak with your wife anyhow because. These are the things your parents probably did that destroyed their marriage. Could be traceable to your grandparents as well then you would have someone tell you it is a spiritual fight. No, it is not a spiritual battle, it is a character flaw that one generation after each kept copying and displaying and then demons are blamed for it. When you blame the devil and other people for your character flaw, the most basic problem with that is that you have chosen not to take responsibility for your actions meaning you are saying it is not your fault. That is what Adam and Eve did in the garden which is the reason we are here today.

Take inventory of your life and family line and find out what destructive character traits run through your family and then you can declare that this affliction shall not rise again as you curtail the flow of that character in your own life. Change is what you need so that that affliction will not rise again in your own life. Then you take the bull by the horn by telling yourself it is your fault if you continue on that part. Finally you must learn to teach those who follow after you the same truth so that that can permanently be deleted in your life so you establish that scripture on your line and land.

May the Lord help you as you journey into your destiny.
