Types of father's:
1. Natural or biological fathers: these fathers pass their biological identifiers to their children like height, complexion, shape of nose, etc. These children are call Sons of men
2. We have professional fathers: these pass the their professional traits/identifiers to their children. ,i.e finishing, farming, reaching, etc. These children are called mentees or sons of Dr so so and so, professor so so and so, etc
3. Spiritual fathers: the Devil (the God of this world, a creature) and the Living God (the God of heaven, the creator). Spiritual birth takes place when a natural man gives his body to a spirit to inhabit
a. So if you give your body to the Devil, you are a son of the devil.
b. If you give your body to God, you are the Son of God.

The question is whose Son are you?

Whose Son are you? The devil or God?
Certainly all of us will say God. But the question is, how do we becomes sons of God? And have you been through this process?

Sons are born: These fathers have sexual in*******se with their wives and born their Sons..this is how they (fathers) transfer themselves (DNA) to their Sons

Professional fathers teach or train their sons on a specific trade or vocation...this is how they ( fathers) transfer themselves (DNA) to their sons.

Now how does God also transfer Himself(DNA) to His Sons?
Through the born again concept; John 3:1-21, John 1:11-12. Until you believe in Jesus and confess Him has your Lord and personal Saviour, you are not a Son of God. Period. Take it or leave it.
Hearing about Jesus is not enough, you must accept Him ( believe Him) and Confess Him with your mouth. Only through this are you born again and be a Son of God.

So are you born again? If yes, then you are saved John 3:14-17. If no, are already condermed (separated from God) even though you still live on earth John 3:18.

To be born again, please repeat this prayer after me:
Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner (separated from God and died spiritually). Today I repent of all my sins, I deny the devil and all his lies. I ask you to forgive me of all my sins and wash me with your precious blood that was shed mount Calvary. Lord Jesus, please write my name in your book of live. If I live I live for you and if I die I die for you. Thank you Father for giving me your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Lord and personal Saviour.
Amen.

If you have just said this prayer, Congratulations..you are now a Son of God. You now have the DNA of God(the Holy Spirit). So you will be able to please God..do God's will.

Beloved of God. I greet you all in the name of the Almighty God and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

This week topic: DOING THE WORK OR BUSINESS OF MY FATHER.

Introduction:
Jesus said...don't you care that I must go about my father's business? Luke 2:41-52, Heb 10:7, Jn 14:31, etc.

In Jn 17:4-5 Jesus said" I have glorified your name on earth by accomplishing the work you have given me to do...and ask God to give him back the glory He had before the world begun. Again in Jn 19:28-30, Jesus again confirmed it is finished.

Many things are clear here:
1. The presence of Jesus on earth
2. His mission on earth-God's business
3.he finishing his assignment on earth
4. Having brought glory to His father and asking for His own glory
5. Clarity on who His father is

We will now start our studies with questions. See next post
