QUESTION:
Sheikh my father is involved in in riba since very long , we brothers have tried our level best to explain him. He says he is not using te money in food but in unnecessary things like electric bills and and other housebhold bills… what should we do how to make him stop this .. what is the ruling for it and is it ok to spend this money like this .

ANSWER:
It is totally prohibited to take riba, in fact it’s a major sin. However the money he’s spending on his family is halal for them and the sin is totally on the father alone.

It's rare for someone who eats too much sleeps too much plays many games to suddenly wake up one day and saying I'm missing something... It's not going to happen...You have to begin to deprive yourself of somethings in life to be able to see what is the need that i can fullfil

Islām Is Peace And Submission

جاء رجل إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال : يا رسول الله، ما الإسلام ؟ قال : أن تسلم قلبك لله ، وأن يسلم المسلمون من لسانك ويدك.

A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: O Messenger of Allāh ﷺ what is Islām?,

He ﷺ said: “That you submit your heart to Allāh and that Muslims are SAFE from YOUR TONGUE and YOUR HAND.”

QUESTION:
I wanted to know if children does something wrong in worldy life and their parents are already in hereafter.. Are they going to be questioned or punished for children’s faults?

ANSWER:
If the parents were the ones who influenced or taught these sins to their children or when they saw them doing these things, they did not stop them then they will be questioned about them, otherwise no.

QUESTION:
Sheikh, ive come to know that my neighbour who is married committed zina when his wife was nt at home.. what should i do now as am aware of it now.. should i conceal the fault because allah loves concealing sins or should i inform his parents or wife as to make him stop the guilt? Am very confused help me

ANSWER:
If you can present four male witnesses testifying that they had seen his private part in that woman’s private part, you can do that! Otherwise, you would be flogged 80 lashes for slandering him. You must mind your own business.
